So far I've purchased three major Ngen upgrades and by far the best thing about them is the outstanding step by step instructions. Makes for confidence in purchasing for sure!
Vileak Thong thank you! That is one of our main goals with doing these videos: Make them as easy as possible to follow so that almost anyone can do this with proper instruction.
Superb video, every detail explained in plain English with every size tool told, well done 👏 👍🏼👍🏼 i plan to to this to my wifes 595 abarth as the original hose clamps have started failing
Man I hope you get more of these in stock soon cause I'm ready! I know it's tough, I work at a dealership and sometimes I feel like it's a joke trying to get parts anymore. Keep up the great work Brian!
Question for ya! Is the core the same shape and basic design as the expensive forge kit? I ask because I want to put the forge external oil cooler. Without spending 1400 on the forge kit. They look similar
Great install video but what are the actual advantages of replacing the factory intercoolers? I recently bought a 2013 Abarth and I'm currently looking at performance upgrade options but I want to know what the advantages and disadvantages are before I proceed. It would be awesome if you would make a video stating why someone would want to spend the money on your performance upgrades. I get that one might gain a bit of cooling with a bigger intercooler and better air flow across the heat exchanger but what real world impact would it have on performance overall? Thanks for your efforts and information.
Does a Fmic add horsepower? To put it simply: no, a larger intercooler will not really add any horsepower to your car. It does, however, give you much more wiggle room for a more aggressive tune without the risk of harming your engine. It should be noted, however, that too large of an intercooler can actually do more harm than good.
Always informative and well done! Thank you for educating us on our beloved Fiats! Also thank you for your quality products, and most importantly, your guidance in modifying our cars.
Salam, vidéo très explicite mais je souhaite savoir comment changer l’accumulateur de ma boîte robotisée sur une Abarth de 2010 car à la valise Multieuscan, j’ai un manque d’huile.Merci
Quick question, I recently got the V2 version of this kit for my car and plan to install it before a tail of the dragon trip this week; any major install differences for the V2 piping versus the original setup?
Not sure as we have no way to tear. The procedure is likely similar. If you have a multi-air then it definitely should. If you have a t-jet, we wouldn’t know as we don’t have those here
This is kind of unrelated to this particular video but do you what the paint code is for a black 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth? Or if you don’t know it, do you know where to find it on the vehicle?
With the battery and hold down out of the way and the radiator moved out of the way this would be a great time to change out the much needed radiator hoses . And since that you are already under the car do a oil change at the same time too.
Yes depending on the car, one of the drawbacks of a FMIC is you might have a gap between the front bumper and the fender. Usually after about a week and it sitting in the sun, you can make adjustments to minimize it as the bumper will stretch
Video dobrý al proč to děláš pátý přes devátý a důležitý základní věci děláš až v půlce videa ... Video dobrý ale orientovat se v tom a přeskakovat to aby to člověk našel je hrozný
Our videos mainly focus on the “How to” on upgrading components, not so much of what benefit/performance gain it provides. Most who watch our videos already know the “why” which is the reason we don’t go deep into that. However, to respond to your statement, it definitely is NOT a waste of time. With the factory dual side mount Intercooler system, there are numerous connection points that are known to leak, especially when you start adding other performance modifications. Also, with the increase of performance with other mods, the DUAL SMIC system tends to get “heat soaked” which dramatically decreases performance. In most cases, replacing the SMIC with a FMIC, eliminates both of these common issues from occurring. Hope this helps you to better understand why many upgrade to a FMIC.
When someone says "Philips head" they are automatically disqualified as a mechanic.. That is a name brand of tools that no longer exists. That is NOT the name of the head of tool. . Positive and negative is widely used..
This comment is funny. I’m around a lot of technicians in Texas and everyone calls it a “Phillips head” screwdriver. No one calls it “positive and negative”. I guess it depends on where you are. But disqualified because of what you call a tool? That’s ridiculous. Look up “Phillips screwdriver” on Home Depot’s website and you will find them listed. Look at Wikipedia and you will find this: “Screwdriver tips are available in a wide variety of types and sizes (List of screw drives). The two most common are the simple 'blade'-type for slotted screws, and Phillips, generically called "cross-recess", "cross-head", or "cross-point".” No mention of “positive and negative”.

Excellent, clear instructions with every socket etc size mentioned.
Thanks!
That will be my next project on my Abarth, actually, and you Sir already did half of it, many thanks!😊

Good work Bryan. It's always a pleasure to watch your work.
Thanks Greg!
great video! it makes me want to buy stuff from you, so it may be time to visit your site.
Thank you!

Yes very similar and the forge oil cooler kit will work perfectly with our FMIC. Both are available on our website

Thats how you produce an installation video! Thanks.

I'm actually interested in the wheels on that car. What we're they? I assume not 4x98 bolt circle.
Great video and right on time! I’m doing this next week

Dope video! Could you also do a FMIC remove and install on a 2014 Fiat 500L?
Thanks! We do not have any plans to do one for a 500L. We were not aware there was a replacement FMIC for that car.
Yeah it does have one sadly nobody has posted any such videos of doing it.

@@NGENCustomsandPerformance Woo! Awesome! Can't wait to install it.

Great video 🎰🥂 we definitely say do more installs 🔥🔥🔥
Cre8tiveGarage thank you!
A best upgrade 🔝❤️🏆🥇
Greetings, Wondering how to do front axle manual trans seal and were to buy it On a Fiat 500 ??
Does it work on an EU spec Abarth manual?
Great videos !

Good recommendations!
Do you need a tune if you have a front mount inter cooler ? Or could you run the car without a tune
?
Villegas no tune is required to run a FMIC
Beautifull FAQ, verry nice
Great job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Seems like it would be smart to do the intercooler, downpipe, and blowoff valve at the same time.
Definitely!
Where can I find the abarth mat that’s on the ground?
I want that shirt
Do I need to tune my abarth to install a bigger intercooler?
No tuning required when upgrading to a front mount Intercooler
Great tutoring video.
Will this kit fit a 2016 fiat 500 turbo
Yes it will!
Any idea what the torque specs are for the crash bar bolts?
Just use a good impact and it will be secure. We do not have the torque specs on hand for the crash bar.
Good job 👍
dude, did you see those gaps between the bumper and fender?

Compatible w ‘12 500c pop?
No - an Intercooler system is used with a turbo setup.
What wheels are those? 😍
MST Time attack wheels.
Jesus, how many damn intercooler hoses are there on the stock system?!!
SUPER TOP👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
That’s a lot of work

After all that work and nothing is mentioned about why anyone would or should go through the effort and expense. Total waste of time.
