in my op they should have him return, not because he's the fan favourite, (well my favourite) but he never gave up on his quest for power even at the end, his story isn't over yet and He would be the greatest movie villain return of all movie villain returns.

Tai Lung,Shen and Kai,the three are totaly humiliated in this movie,but at least Tai lubg got some lines.

Lord Shen was done so dirty man just like Kai. They didn’t even fight but instantly got their abilities stolen lol. Like if The Chameleon had a control machine that shoots a ray, it would have been a bit more believable. But this was just plain disrespectful

What they did with the past villains was probably the biggest fumble in Dreamworks history. That being said it was still a great movie
Why did the Chameleon pull out Shen if he doesn’t really have Kung-Fu? All he has is swordplay, gliding, and some other stuff I can’t think of.
I think she was just looking for every deceased criminal who had any recognition, which probably, seeing her, meant it was the kind of thing she wanted.

Shen is a Kung Fu practitioner, he's just not on the level of, for example, Thundering Rhino, who dealt with him effortlessly before he resorted to his cannon. Rhino even pointed out the difference in their skill level before he died, but Shen is a skilled Kung Fu fighter in his own right, having dealt with both Croc and Storming Ox simultaneously without any trouble at all before Rhino stepped in.
This movie was disgustingly embarrassing. A series with genocide, inner peace, healing, grief…to this lazy, non-cannon, lack of research or continuity 4th film.
