The lighting, the setting, the desert sand vintera, the arrangement, the performance and the outfit - it all just comes together so naturally. Great work!
I clicked on your video because, as a photographer, I was impressed by the light and quality of the thumbnail ;) I like the atmosphere and the color. Then, as a guitar player myself, I also enjoyed your playing!
Nice job! Moody and ethereal. And the houndstooth jacket? Along with the surroundings (save for the flatscreen), it lends a definite mid-century Algonquin Hotel vibe to the piece. Subbed!
@@georgjohansson I could listen to you play all day. A lot of people think playing fast slathered in distortion is hard but its not its playing slow and clean and making every note count that is truly impressive.
Everything is stock except for the volume knob.I shimmed the neck and raised the bridge and now the guitar plays great. This is my signalchain: Fender Jazzmaster vintera II ➡️ Strymon Flint ➡️ Strymon Deco ➡️ Strymon Iridium ➡️ UAFX Golden Reverberator. There’s some eq and compression in the daw and a tiny bit of plate reverb.
I like Tom Waits and I like Jazzmasters and I like tremolo. So I really like this vid.
Thank you!
Same, haha !

One of my favourite songs, beautifully played. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you like it!
Great feel… and houndstooth blazer. New sub.
Thank you!

@@travisstubbs8854 thanks! I agree. Although I have to admit that playing fast and clean with lots of distortion is also very difficult
can you talk about how to get that jazzmaster tone, do you change the pickup, or the bridge? thanks !

that sounded great man, and great playing too. Thanks for your reply.
Listened to this 10 times now. Lovely!
And ordered a Vintera Jazzmaster… This put me over the edge.
May I ask how much you shimmed the neck?
@@hubspin I used .5° shim from StewMac
Tweed Jacket, tweed amp ?
@@gavriloprincip11 when I play “real” amps I usually play a tweed, but in this clip I’m using a Strymon Iridium.
