The defendant is a scam artist with her loser boyfriend. She even knew what to say to avoid being legally responsible. Who needs enemies when you have “friends” like that
It’s a tough life lesson in growing up and operating in the world of responsible adulthood. She won’t be handing over $2,000 any time soon to a complete stranger to her.
What's shocking is NOT that there is a world full of "Richies"; they're always con artists looking for an easy Mark. What IS shocking is that these seemingly grown women act like naive teenagers! They're not fully cooked & need to stay with their parents a few years longer or the Richies of the world are going to eat them alive! How do these women cross the street by themselves? I'm seriously worried for them!
The defendant lied she said he sent a picture to send to her saying he bought the car. Then turned right around and says he didn’t. I know I’m not tripping
7:12 caught that lie. If Rickie didn't live with the defendant, why did the plaintiff need to go to her house while she was at work to drop off the money🤔🤷🏽♀️ The defendant is right. The plaintiff was not her friend because she had no empathy whatsoever for her loss. The defendant knew enough about the defendant that he "makes money" by "going to car auctions." I cannot wait to see the defendant on For My Man or American Greed.😠😡🤬
I've seen this movie before... Her friend and Richey broke azz ran a play. This girl used her to come up and after Richey broke her off he broke off. He RAN OFF AND SHE SET UP THE PLAY......👌 For the Love OF MONEY
Never ever ever ever pay for a car unseen!!! I wanted to be upset with the plaintiff, but I was young once, trusted an ex to purchase me car, he sent me pics but not of the damaged side of the car. It had a salvage title, possibly stolen, had to meet with a detective because apparently wherever the car was purchased from wasn't legit...smh! It was a nightmare. My parents were heated and upset that I didnt seek their assistance...but I was trying to get things done on my own and even though he was an ex I never thought he'd do such a thing. Dont be game goofy out here. I hate this happened to the plaintiff...definitely a lesson learned.
a relative told me they sent a good amount of money to someone on CL for a car and they hadn't heard from the person sense sending the money, I said you know that's a scam, she didn't know. I couldn't believe they sent money for a car they never ever saw not once.
@positiveelegance286 The girl could have easily googled, how to buy a used car. Kids today have so much knowledge literally in their hands, yet are the most ignorant generation.
The plaintiff didn't lie about meeting the guy. I believe she didn't explain it correctly. She was trying to say the guy would be at the friend house all the time, but she only encountered him the 2x.
At the exit speech when the defendant is saying "when she knows she didn't give me any money at all" look at the eye blocking, y'all! In my opinion, she's a liar. 11:25 Happy New Year everyone!
Aw I feel so bad for her. Ugh Im soo tired of good, be it, naive, ppl getting taken advantage of. That’s a lot of money, for a young person just starting out in life, to have to remember losing esp when ur already desperate for a car. I know that feeling. And then, yeah, she may have been naive but its s damn shame that u cant even trust the person u call your best friend. She was never her friend-and damn sure wasnt her bestie. Pliantiff is hurt & angry, and I feel so awful for her. Hopefully she has learned that expensive lesson and learns who her true friends are. Edit: And then they made it even worse by getting her hopes up by sending her a picture. This was so cruel. I hope shes since been fully restored and I hope they EACH come across the same energy. Those look like they may be a grp of mean girls, if the defendant is any representation of them.
Hell this was a $2000 lesson for me. Her friend is wrong for this. She knows exactly who Richie is and what he did with that money. Wow. I’m hurt for the plaintiff. That’s a lot of money to lose like that.
Defendant definitely knows where Richie is. And Richie did not purchase any car, he pulled a car from the internet and sent it to her. Defendant and Richie split the $2,000 grand.
I am not convinced she knew he was going to do that… but I do think she knows where he is. If that were my friend I’d be finding that guy… she HAS to have a way to find him. This makes zero sense. 😂
The defendant was definitely in on the scam & they split the money. But as the saying goes, a fool & their money are soon parted. You don't just hand over $2k to some dude you've only seen 2 or 3 times.
Why r ppl so ready to give away their hard earned money, I known she’s young, but gosh when I was her age u better believe me I wouldn’t just hand over 2 grand to someone who I don’t know! When I bought my first car and the second, I had a responsible adult with me to go purchase my car. I feel bad for her but she’s suing the wrong person, and her friend was stupid for referring this guy to her, claiming she didn’t know him that well either.
This case hits pretty close to home for me. There have been a couple of times when I was in search of a vehicle for work and had friends tell me about someone they knew who went to car auctions. Thinking back, I wonder if I would have ever just handed the money over solely based on my relationship with the person who introduced me to the car purchaser. I'd like to say no, because I didn't, but also I wouldn't trust someone else to choose a used car for me. But I feel for the plaintiff, mostly because she's young and was too trusting. The defendant is not a good person. She showed no signs of sympathy or empathy for her "friend's" loss and doesn't seem interested in helping her find this guy. Reading some of the comments, it's quite plausible she was in on the scam with him. It's a shame how many untrustworthy and despicable people there are in the world, even people you think you know.
Lesson: Don’t give anybody cash. Also, don’t do any kind of large monetary transactions with friends. When things go South, they will always blame you.
The plaintiff is not street smart. She got hit by an old fashion one-two move. The grimy pair saw her coming. Richie is most likely creeping into her apartment in the dead of night since the heat is on.
Lmaohdh the response to defendant gave on the hall talking about a friend wouldn't do this 😳 ... ma'am, are you referring to what you did to her OoRrrrrrrrr????
Her little lying self. That was never her friend. Her response and entitlement at the end and in the case showed her true character. Most ppl with a decent character would feel about connecting a good friend with a scammer. Ppl are evil man. Poor girl.
Listen up people......................never ever ever never ever NEVER buy or give money to anybody to buy anything, but if you must, sign a loan agreement, get it on text, voice, or chicken scratch, whatever. Always keep receipts. What is so hard about that??????
What's shocking is NOT that there is a world full of "Richies"; they're always con artists looking for an easy Mark. What IS shocking is that these seemingly grown women act like naive teenagers! The defendant was in on it too and knew the guy was a scammer. She's a bird and a snake in the grass.
Same thing I was thinking. She was the broker.
@ChocoBeauty8 exactly 💯
No, I don't think so. I think the guy hustled both women.
And the plaintiff is a sucker
Yup yup
She knows where Richie is
@@zoeg7985 she for sure know where RICHIE is .
Yeah she do
Factx she id a scammer
She was in on it .. she knew damn well he had no intentions on buying a car. She told him her friend had 2K and schemed her friend out of it.
Facts
What a best friend 🙄
Bingo
That pissses me off so much.
How can you possibly know that?
The defendant is a scam artist with her loser boyfriend. She even knew what to say to avoid being legally responsible. Who needs enemies when you have “friends” like that
They scammed her
Facts
💯
The defendant and richie split the money lol she was able to talk to richie anytime she wanted to now all of sudden he a ghost lol
Right 💯
Frfr knew him well enough all the way up until this point now all of sudden she can’t find him And don’t know where he’s at..ummmmK😂
How dare the defendant play the victim. Karma will take care of her.
Why do people keep bringing up karma like it’s a thing? It’s not. Only stupid people that make stupid choices and doing stupid things.
What goes around comes right back around.
I hope the defendant reads these comments. PLEASE avoid her like the plague.
She was taken advantage of by the defendant and the guy. It’s unfortunate but karma will take care of them.
Yeah she was , but she knew she couldn't buy a car cause she didn't have a license, so she was scamming too!
Yeah she's in on it. I feel really bad for her that's a hard lesson to learn 😢
She knows where her partner Richie is.
Of course she does!! Please with the broken phone!
And I bet Trick'hie has a girlfriend or wife. Which is why she's denying their relationship.
This made me mad on the plaintiff’s behalf. It’s not easy saving up $2,000 especially she is relatively young. I feel sorry for her.
Right. Wished I saw this when it first came out. I would have tried to send her some money.
@@finally97That was kind of you 😊

They look somewhat college age. They both have more maturing to do.
They're still young and has a Looooooong ways to go before they grow up and learn a lesson in life concerning men among other things....
I believe that the defendant is a LIAR , the defendant and RICHIE took the money .
Then the defendant bring in her posse while the victim comes in alone.
Somebody knows Ritchie last name, I hope plaintiff finds him
She was never her friend
The defendant was never her friend. Friend is used so loosely...
Agreed 💯👍
The defendant lied she said he sent a picture to send to her saying he bought the car. Then turned right around and says he didn’t. I know I’m not tripping
Exactly
He sent the picture
U r not trippn, I just rewound it & that's xactly what she said...
She was stupid to give a man 2g's. And that was never your best friend. What you doing buying a car without a license.
Did she really say a friend wouldn't have did this to
me girl who raised you
I believe the defendant was in on it, and her and Ritchie split the money.
SHES 100% IN ON IT .

I have a feeling that girl and Richie was working together
She is in on it. And she knows where Richie is.
She’s a bad liar
If the defendant wasn't all the way in on it she for sure know how to find him. And that's a STRONG "if"
Girl go find Richie. Go to auctions & ask around. Him & ur Snake friend took ur money. Shame on them 😔

Poor baby trusting her so called friend. That little witch was in on it & Richie gave her some of that girl money "hence" now he can't be found. Smh

Did he say the judge is hot 😂
The defendant and Fake azz Richie is Grimey, Real Talk
The plaintiff just said she’s seen the guy at the defendants home multiple time along w/ his belongings. Then she said she only met him twice.
The defendant was definitely in on the scam & they split the money. But as the saying goes, a fool & their money are soon parted. You don't just hand over $2k to some dude you've only seen 2 or 3 times.

💯 I would've set up a time for all of us to all go to the auction together. She trusted her "friend" too much.
There was also nothing going on in her mind when she handed a complete stranger $2,000.
Nothing! She had mashed potatoes for brains when she did that move.
I feel so bad for the plaintiff, I hope Richie is in jail somewhere for whatever 😆🤷🏽♀️ and I hope karma paid a visit to the defendant 🙄
Stay clear of the defendant. She is a snake. Was in on it
This was a tight scam. All three of them probably worked for Ritchie.
The defendant is a fraud and rather annoying.
Defendant still talks to Richie let’s be real
Richie in the car waiting for her to get done 😂😂😂
Defendant is foul smh probably like the guy and the guy convince her to scam her friend smh
The girl is so dumb, how can you give money to someone you don't know
The guy who exclaimed "The judge is HOT", though. xD
😅

It’s so refreshing hearing some old school names being used, Wideline and Marvalee. lol classic!

She be lyin' agin cuz she alway talkin bunk so she come out ahead
She was trusting him with her 😻
The defendant took on the role & responsibility as the middle man. Thats why she should've been held liable.
There never was a car
Richie gave the defendant at least a 500. finder fee for referring the plaintiff to him lol
Her and Richie bout to be cracking crab legs laughing 😂😂
SMH!
She need to stay away from that evil defendant.
A fool and her money,…..
That defendant set her up. That’s sad and Karma is real
The plaintiff is not street smart. She got hit by an old fashion one-two move. The grimy pair saw her coming. Richie is most likely creeping into her apartment in the dead of night since the heat is on.
The plaintiff is naive to the world and was a sitting duck for the defendant and her “boyfriend”
That's sad...she trusted her friend and it's sad how it all turned out.
Lmaohdh the response to defendant gave on the hall talking about a friend wouldn't do this 😳 ... ma'am, are you referring to what you did to her OoRrrrrrrrr????
Well, she didn't have a license. How is she gonna put the car in your name
Ok. She didn't have a license so why is she trying to buy a car and did she tell Richie what kind of car she wanted??
She definitely got scammed by the defendant. The defendant had that high school juvenile smile on her like she got away with something! Terrible!!
Idk why she was even interested in buying a car if she had no license...let alone willingly giving a dude $2k that she didn't even know 🤦🏽♀️

People are so trusting with their money the Idea of handing someone 2k to go to some random auction and pick you out some random car sounds crazy.
