- For some tasks at the workbench, securing a workpiece with clamps or vises just won't work. Here's a simple accessory and keeps a workpiece in place and lets you reposition it easily.

Good Idea that can be used for many bench support needs. However I think if you used that lonely hand saw and a flat bench hook you would get a better cut.
You don't get the concept of a narrow hook as a 'down the bench support', same thickness as the bench hook as support for long stock?

Those are "Talon" brand pegboard hooks. They are super handy because they don't fall out when you are removing the tool. They make a variety of different styles but here is source for that style: amzn.to/3lU9Lhp
