I hit a nice gazelle punch in sparring yesterday, i thought i wouldn't be good enough to hit my opponent after jumping from a distance, but this video gave me enough courage to try it, thanks! feels really nice to use it too
Yup. I was considering transitioning to boxing from karate but my local gym made me quit immediately because of these old boxing coaches. With a guy like andrii, I would have stayed for sure
1. Against an infighter you keep the distance 2. Against an outfiighter you cut the distance 3. Of course, there are many drills apart from the tire that you can do to be a more versatile fighter Hope this helps and encourages you for a research, because I can’t write a book in comments :)
There are different steps for a child for one step. Normally they do this automatically through experience. But when they can't, there are many steps in between.
1. Learn to use the long guard effectively 2. Learn to “feel” the ring to know where to move not to get trapped 3. Use both the basic steps and the pendulum step 4. Use the screw jab, works great 5. Target the upper chest of guys with good head movement
