Based dude. Fr this Forza vs GT war is sickening. GT has attention to detail and thats really apparent and I appreciate games like that. But I also play Forza at my brothers home and it still gives us hours of fun. I wouldn't trade that for anything else. Both games are fun. Bottom line.

Here’s what I’ve observed: Forza’s NSX model didn’t look too inaccurate here, compared to its FM1-FM4 model. Because in FM5 beyond, they fixed its model to match up with the real car by giving it a black painted roof that’s not present in the older FM titles. So its car model is fine but it’s just less inaccurate. A tiny bit or close to being spot on because I noticed a little something that’s wrong - was the spacing of its wheels, looks wide. The real car’s track width is narrowed. So its model still need improvements to have it spot on accurate. Or better yet, re-scan the entire car model from scratch. GT7’s is the most up-to-date model, scanned from the actual car in reality. Simple to notice that. Need evidence to understand from what I’ve said? It’s proven in the Official Forza Forum website, because there’s a report made on it.
And GT7 combines the more accurate model with billboard trees and a less accurate track environment to save ressources, so it is useless in terms of overall realism.

The worst thing in GT7 cockpit view is the wheel bears zero connection to what the car is doing, you can be turning left while the steering wheel is still pointing right. Forza does it much better, it's really off putting in GT

How so? Graphical fidelity has loads to it, such as the computer working less with a less intensive lighting system, ray tracing and moving 3d foliage. Just something to think about. Forza is doing more than GT in terms of graphical effects.

The depiction of weather is better, when it's a rain storm the wind is howling and the tees are swaying about, forgive me if that seems "irrelivemt" to some people, but that's a big detail, racing happens in all types of weather. Now for some tracks, GT has a higher resolution track, that's it. Nearly all of the tracks I've compared have way more going on track side, and they are more detailed in Forza. The lighting in Forza is just better, real life DOESN'T have the bloom GT does. Night racing feels like night racing. Not to mention every tra in Forza has all times of day selectable as well as the weather settings. GT has different selections for different tracks, and it has very little night tracks, and I know why, because of lighting. Stick a GT car on a track with no lighting and it's an absolute mess. And I have proof for all of this. Gts cars can be more accurate, but Forzas cars look more realistic. Forza has ray tracing on track during races GT does not. Shall I go on?
The nsx looks quite bad in forza they need to rescan it for sure. Its to no suprice that gt7 is in a league of its own with its car models and attention to detail.
GT7- God level car detail and paint, with lesser detailed surroundings (depending on track) FM8- very detailed track surroundings (sometimes over done) but Xbox 360 level car details, with sound even worse than 360 games. Interior models on GT7 make FM8 look like a 3 generation regression. (I play FM8 on PC on ultra). Also, turn on Wobble Cam 2 for interior on GT7 for realistic head movements.
Forza with a few more updates on graphical side can beat GT7 for sure. They just need to work on it. GT7 looks good of course but Forza if they really work on it they can do it. The lighting is good
You should try to compare FM vs gt6, not trying to make fun, it would be interesting to see. FM vs gt7 is over done and anyone you cant easily tell the winner is just lying to them selfs.
There are a lot of things that look better in Forza Motorsport 7 when compared to Forza Motorsport. Even though the menu sucks in Forza 7, it's better than Forza. The car selection screen is also better in Forza 7. In Forza 7, when you select your car, at least it shows the car rotating on the platform. The home space in 7 is better than the dull look in Forza. I'd rather view the interior and under the bonnet in Forza 7 vs. the new Forza. The wheels look better in Forza 7 when compared to the new Forza. For example, the 2009 ZR1 wheels look way better in Forza 7 when compared to the new Forza. In the new Forza, they don't even shine, it looks as if someone sandblasted them or waxed them and never put finish on them. I just feel the cars in Forza are further away from simulating their real life counterpart. There shouldn't be any more visual comparison videos between Forza and GT7 because it's not close, it's not worth it. GT7 wins all the way. It would be a closer and more intriguing comparison between Forza 7 and Forza.
As always the car, both exterior and interior, are in different generations in favor of GT7 and scenarios, goes according to taste, if you like arcade type with lots of colorful detail, balloon, people, etc. Forza is your game, if you want something more realistic and sober, bet on GT. GT7 only fails me in excessive contrast of the shadows, which seems to go hand in hand with this engine.

Gran Turismo 7 looks like a free to play only in the environment details since gran Turismo 5 , but in the sound design , quality of the shaders of cars inside and outside , the new skybox , and the control no one can do better.

Sometimes it just takes immaculate car detail to win over immersion for true car enthusiasts/sim racers. I know for me I'd kill to have GT7 on PC simply cuz they did what FM8 promised and flopped on, way before Forza did..... And that is a make a masterpiece of a car sim that truly captures proper car detail and racing. Does not matter how 'good' your environment looks if your fundamentals are utter garbage. Take VTOL Vr for example, that's a low detail (graphically wise) game but the fundamentals are spot on for what it is, a mil sim. And its just as engaging at times if not more than other games in it's class. All that to say, sometimes nailing the fundamentals, compliments the areas where the game lacks. It just works and it doesn't matter as much when your fundamentals are spot on.
@h2opiays753 this is all yap youre talking. Forza became such a detailed and good sim that GT was forced to set their foot down because they were losing sales over a game exclusively on xbox. Keep in mind that Xbox has 300% less players than Playstation. The details on both parties are a nuance, so much so that something as "unimportant" as environmental details and lighting play a gigantic role in what makes the game better overall. The reason F8 didn't do as well, was because of the progression system and lack of split screen, that is all
The environment and the track in Forza looks much better but the car models in GT look far better. Forza also has much better cameras, the chase cam in GT7 is so obnoxiously stiff that rally is unplayable with the jittering of it. Ever since GT4 they've had the same problem but refuse to change it

But if my one otherside of thougths is actualy do in pc games programing then this comment is relevant to talk t in advance. All pc games should have a photograph recalibration, if the pc processor dont have a color correction were you cant adjust or change the ratio of red, gren, blue, highligths, shadows, ect of its ghrapics shown in the screen... because sometime gamers are so experimental so they try to change the setting to make it close to real world ambient colours (ultra realistic photography or ghrafix).. .

They look different, but both games look good objectively. Forza has a more vibrant look, Gran Turimso looks more detailed when it comes to the cars and foliage.

私はGTを1から6までプレイしてきた男だぞ！！！(だから何だと言うんだ？)
FM2024は弱めのスキール音が良いと感じた。あの独特な「キュルルルル」という音をよく再現できている。
対してGT7はインテリアのハンドルが360度回転するようになった。GT5、GT6は180度しか回転しなかったし、FM2024もLtoLは180度であるから、これは良いことだ。
残念なことに私はクルマのモデリングについて詳しくないから言及はできないが、少なくとも光と影の描写はGT7が若干優れているように感じた。
確かにインテリアは暗すぎるかもしれないが、実際、夜間に車に乗っていると、計器はこれと同じくらい暗く見えるはずだ。
FM2024は影が若干弱いように感じたが、計器が見やすくなるのでゲーム的には良いだろう(HUDを非表示でプレイするなら)。
サウンドに関しては両者ともに良いと思ったが、FM2024はシフトアップ時のアクセルの踏みこみが弱く感じた。
自動車のシフトアップというのは以下の作業を連続して行っている。
1.アクセルから足を離す
2.クラッチを切る
3.シフトアップする
4.クラッチを繋げる
5.アクセルを踏み込む
以上に示したうちの5番…アクセルを踏み込む作業において、踏みこみがゆっくりだと感じた。
なんというか…私の語彙力だとかなり言語化が難しいのだけれど、GT7はどかっと一気に踏み込んでいるのに対して、FM2024はふんわりと柔らかめに踏み込んでいる感じ。
現実世界で車に乗るならアクセルの踏みこみは柔らかい方が乗り心地良いのだが、FM2024もGT7もゲームであるから、ここはどかんと一気に踏み込んでほしいところだ。
残念なことに私はXBOXも、高性能なPCも、PS5も持っていないから特に何かが分かる訳ではないのだが、グランツーリスモを1から6まで(GTC01Tも含んで)プレイした一個人として言わせていただきたい。

GT has better sounds and maybe a better car selection. Forza has more realistic lighting and other than the clouds, a more realistic environment. the movement and smoke effects are all better on Forza

Forza is fun to play but Gran Turismo is the real driving Simulator.
Sometimes it just takes immaculate car detail to win over immersion for true car enthusiasts/sim racers. I know for me I'd kill to have GT7 on PC simply cuz they did what FM8 promised and flopped on, way before Forza did..... And that is a make a masterpiece of a car sim that truly captures proper car detail and racing.
Does not matter how 'good' your environment looks if your fundamentals are utter garbage. Take VTOL Vr for example, that's a low detail (graphically wise) game but the fundamentals are spot on for what it is, a mil sim. And its just as engaging at times if not more than other games in it's class.
All that to say, sometimes nailing the fundamentals, compliments the areas where the game lacks. It just works and it doesn't matter as much when your fundamentals are spot on.

@h2opiays753 this is all yap youre talking. Forza became such a detailed and good sim that GT was forced to set their foot down because they were losing sales over a game exclusively on xbox. Keep in mind that Xbox has 300% less players than Playstation. The details on both parties are a nuance, so much so that something as "unimportant" as environmental details and lighting play a gigantic role in what makes the game better overall. The reason F8 didn't do as well, was because of the progression system and lack of split screen, that is all
The environment and the track in Forza looks much better but the car models in GT look far better. Forza also has much better cameras, the chase cam in GT7 is so obnoxiously stiff that rally is unplayable with the jittering of it. Ever since GT4 they've had the same problem but refuse to change it
I just wonder, i dont have idea because i havent yet own a gamung pc unit. . . But if my one otherside of thougths is actualy do in pc games programing then this comment is relevant to talk t in advance.
All pc games should have a photograph recalibration, if the pc processor dont have a color correction were you cant adjust or change the ratio of red, gren, blue, highligths, shadows, ect of its ghrapics shown in the screen... because sometime gamers are so experimental so they try to change the setting to make it close to real world ambient colours (ultra realistic photography or ghrafix).. .

The focus should be at the car models, and for that reason i will always prefer gt7, fm many models looks absolutly terrible its killing the immersion.

They look different, but both games look good objectively. Forza has a more vibrant look, Gran Turimso looks more detailed when it comes to the cars and foliage.
