  • Gregory Peck (1916-2003) was with Henry Fonda the true "Righ Man" of Hollywood's golden age even if he played some bad guys too. In more than 40 years he worked with some of the best directors (Alfred Hitchock, William Wyler, King Vidor, Henry King, John Huston and Vincente Minnelli among others) and some of the lovelier leading lady such as Audrey Hepbun, Ava Gardner or Jennifer Jones who all speaked of him not only as a great actor but as a great man too. Gregory Peck ? A true legend indeed!

Gregory Peck was aN actor that could play any part and so well. He had dignity, masculinity. He was sensible, intelligent and had that Irish humor. He was the greatest ! I even loved watching his latest movies Arabesque 1966 and The Omen 1976 and those made for TV.

@MontgomeryGrant Thanks so much. Now I remember that scene from Duel in the Sun. It's been a couple of years since I've seen it. Again, thank you.

Thank you so very much for this! It's my favorite of all the GP tributes on yt. I just wish it was longer and included clips from my other favorite GP films, Twelve O'Clock High, The Yearling, Snows of Kilimanjaro and Keys of the Kingdom.

@MontgomeryGrant It cant be. Cape Fear is in black and white. plus he looks way to young to be in cape fear. unless there is a thrid version i dont know about :) ahaha

@Ladyrants I'm sure you aren't and of course it's anachronic, but I wanted to please myself and mix actors and actresses I like with the kind of music I like. Some do it with techno or pseudo Chopin tunes, I prefer do it with hard rock... ;-)

Thanks a lot for this tribute to one of the best actors but sorry to say that the music does not fit the tribute. May be more romantic and soft music would fit better.

What a shame that the music ruins this nicely done tribute to Gregory. The genre doesn't fit and the song is awful.
