The producers always made bangers, but for my money Ray and Anita were crucial to making 2 Unlimited one of the absolute best euro acts of the genre's prime. Ray was one of the few actual talented MCs rapping on house tracks, and a great one at that. Anita had those versatile soaring vocals.

the track actually makes sense in extended form with verse and chorus not falling on top of each other. love it

Some eurodance groups sound like the track is awkwardly stretched into an extended mix cuz the music, in many cases, is basically just pop trying to capitalize on techno.
But 2 Unlimited is one of those rare groups where the producers clearly had some real background in the underground.
If you took the vocals off some of these early tracks, they'd be even more worthy of the dancefloor at a rave than on Top of the Pops.
2 Unlimited holds that rare distinction along with few enough groups to count on one's fingers...
Culture Beat, Magic Affair, Jam & Spoon, Masterboy are the first that come to mind... 😎
