The only reason SAF might be considered better than Pep in some way would be longevity and winning titles over 20+ yrs and respect to him for doing that. But Pep has won titles in Spain,Germany and now the premier league arguably the toughest league to win. He has won 4 titles in a row and 6 out of 7 titles and reshaped how premier league teams now try to play. Ball playing sweeper keeper, inverted full backs, centre halves that step out of defence and join the midfield, false nine’s mind blowing tactical genius. He will only be truly appreciated when Pep leaves the premiership and fans, pundits and the press survey Peps reign at city.

Of his many qualities, Pep's ability to adapt and change for his team's strengths and the weaknesses of his opponents is his greatest strength.
When he first came to England, he was still fairly hardline short passing game, seemingly to only value midfield players and trying to create a whole team of them. Now he has so many approaches to tap into depending on the situation. He is continually evolving while most other managers just have a "This is me. Take it or leave it" attitude.

Spare that stupid idea, Pep was in Barcelona academy and was promoted to Barcelona's first team, so are you telling me Fulham or Palace players are on the same level as academy players so you want him to challenge himself. He already did that, that got him the recognition and took that advantage to be ready for big jobs. Only brain washed people thinks big clubs job are easier than small club. Big clubs job are the difficult ones, expectations to play well and win with good players you had. If a big club go on the season without trophy do you know how bad it feels. But who put any expectations on Palace or Fulham to win league. If Pep goes to those clubs without winning trophy his team will still be good because he will put a system in the team. Please learn and stop this small thinking like you are bringing out something good

So he has gone to the depths of him being too nice about other managers just because he’s the best. Not that he is a professional amongst professionals and recongnises someone who has done an excellent job then? Something that the rest of the football community would also say… but Peps not allowed because Tony would prefer him to be arrogant so that he has something to have a pop at him for that legitimises his envy! What is wrong with people!

@@Mohawkmike Pep walked in to Pellegrini's poor side, a side that only just got top 4 on the last day. He totally rebuilt the team in to what they became.

Pep's style is predictable...its the same every time. More or less. And always, opponents will score first against them. Team like Liverpool pressed them until they were choked. Mo Salah alone can dribble passed 3 city's full back just like that. Stone, Akanji, Diaz and even Rodri get caught many times and they conceded through counter attacks. Yet for all that shits, they win almost all the local cups. Pep knew that. Thats why he said "we were lucky"

I'd love to say wegner was the best but honestly it's pep he's better than anyone before he's better than the present. We should enjoy him why he's in the league.
