I know I’m late but I actually looked into the multitracks and this vocal take is used! It’s in the ‘BGV 1 Stem’ track. But it’s super quiet underneath Myah Marie and I had to separate the vocals to be able to hear it
Just don't believe everything you see on the web when anyone from Britney's side doesn't disclaim the rumors. Someone found the other woman's pre chorus vocals and shared it on RUclips with saying "Oh look, Britney doesn't sing in the pre chorus" then everybody believed that thing. Let me explain, there are channels on the songs and most of the time there are too many vocals singing the same part in different channels of the songs (like this one). Channel that other woman singing was leaked before and now they released Dolby Atmos version of the songs which allows us to look 8 different channels individually. One of these channels is this one Britney singing. That's it. Britney was always singing that part even in the song without Dolby Atmos. We just didn't have its isolated version. Again don't believe everything you see on the web, it's stupid.

Yes, many Dolby Atmos versions of songs use demo takes. I know Everybody uses the demo vocals.

I thoroughly believe the only time Myah as lead passed as Britney is this prechorus and it’s because Britney’s actually singing a fair amount of it.

The way this is edited on the released tracks makes it sound like Myah
Few backing vocalists sing this same part including Myah but sadly they volumed up Myah instead of Britney
This is clearly in the final version just blend with Myah's vocals that are louder
