I'm not an animator, not even an artist,, but maybe if we paint all of the parts that we aren't going to change first, erase the parts we want to animate and then duplicate frames, then draw the animated parts and color. i think it'll at least reduce the work a little bit.
I used sketchbook for a long time and I made a lot of amazing artwork of my own but there are still some things that I want to learn like perfect outlining, colouring and little bit animation your video is really helpful I will try this method

Flip book is available on the desktop version. I’m using the free version of the app on my Ipad. You can use PNGs to animate, you don’t need to convert them. Hope this helps :)
Unfortunately when I saved my work only 1 layer remained left 😞. I couldnt find how to save seperate layers and though I was doing the right thing. But I guess not... Thanks for the tutorial though, it helped me to get to know the program. Unfortunately not how to save my work..
To save the layers separately, you'll have to hide every other layer than the layer you want to save. Eg. If you have 5 layers and you want to save layer no.1, then hide the layers 2,3,4,5. Hope this made sense :D

The tablet version of Sketchbook does not support animation.
