Alan Thicke will go down in TV history as an iconic sitcom dad playing Dr. Jason Seaver in Growing Pains. He was dad to break out stars Kirk Cameron and his adoptive-TV son, Leonardo DiCaprio. In 1983, he landed his first hosting gig in the U.S. with the syndicated late-night talk show Thicke of the Night. By the time his talk show ended, he started working on Growing Pains which ran from 1985-1992. He was also a talented musician, writing the themes to Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes. #InsideEdition
