In that situation, the community council took a wise decision: Those who wished could swap their NS plate for a different one free of charge, and those who felt fine with it could keep it. I don't know what the swappers/keepers ratio was as it wasn't published, but personally, I would have kept the plate because when I'm driving, I just read the place abbreviation to know whether someone is from here or from elsewhere to make a guess about how the driver in front of me will behave. All the rest, I don't even read.

In the 90´s I met some Nazi-Skins in Bavaria (I am and was not a Nazi or Skinhead) and one of them was the blackest guy from Afrika, I have ever seen and he had the thickest bavarian dialect, I´ve ever heard. It was so funny to hear racial slurs from a black person. If I had talked to him on a phone, I had never guessed that he was not German. 😂

Browser Ballett is great for (new) German humor because it can be seriously sarcastic. A shame you (probably) don't know much about daily politics in G because BB's political sketches are positively nasty.
Its a nice idea. Anyway for my taste the comedy is too flat. Mass media are somehow far away from a good description of the reality of most people. This comedy transports some very outdated cliche of right wing people. Also it tries to transport the concept of well integrated muslim. For sure there are well integrated muslims, but those are not a conflict issue. Fore sure there are many really dumb germans. But those are not adressed with this comedy.

There is so much to unravel here. I try to make it short. Germans have a history with nazis culture (big suprise). Mainly with Muslims and Berlin as our capitopl is not free from that its more like... the opposite. We are in an ongoing discussion about "Headscarfs" as you called them or Hijabs Kopftücher etc. here in germany (make of that what you will). Interesting to note is that in the intro you can notice the "funk" logo in a bubble. Funk ist paid by GEZ wich is what germans mandetory pay for the "öffentlich rechtliche" wich translates to "state television and radio" wich means this sketch is actualy paid by every german. @@99Lezard99the one is forcing women to wear it, the other is the idea of forbidding them to, regardless if they themselves want it/make the decision on their own. In both cases you're telling women what they should or shouldn't wear.

Jokes on them, traditionally Nazis and Turkey were not enemies but allies. And I will not begin with how Hitler is perceived by most muslims. This Joke backfires.
The Ottoman Empire and the German Empire were allies during WWI.
That the Third Reich and Turkey were allies is hard to believe.
Furthermore this joke doesn't backfire because it relates to the current Nazis and rightwing extremists who celebrate the Third Reich and hate all kinds of migrants (including Turkish people)
Browser Ballett is great for (new) German humor because it can be seriously sarcastic. A shame you (probably) don't know much about daily politics in G because BB's political sketches are positively nasty.

Its a nice idea. Anyway for my taste the comedy is too flat. Mass media are somehow far away from a good description of the reality of most people.
This comedy transports some very outdated cliche of right wing people. Also it tries to transport the concept of well integrated muslim. For sure there are well integrated muslims, but those are not a conflict issue. Fore sure there are many really dumb germans. But those are not adressed with this comedy.
you should be outraged that the european court ruled that sticking to your religion believes, over clothes has to be banned, when it harms your capitalistic ideas - not about the fact that they make a over lined piece about it
There is so much to unravel here. I try to make it short. Germans have a history with nazis culture (big suprise). Mainly with Muslims and Berlin as our capitopl is not free from that its more like... the opposite. We are in an ongoing discussion about "Headscarfs" as you called them or Hijabs Kopftücher etc. here in germany (make of that what you will). Interesting to note is that in the intro you can notice the "funk" logo in a bubble. Funk ist paid by GEZ wich is what germans mandetory pay for the "öffentlich rechtliche" wich translates to "state television and radio" wich means this sketch is actualy paid by every german. I will stop here to keep it short but if you look into that topic you have DAYS of ugly content. Have a good one
