That bird is amazing. She can make that woman say all kinds of neat stuff!
Actually the bird is trying hard, but only gets the woman to say "Good job" and "Thank you!". The woman is rather nervingly slow-witted.

They talk what you teach them. You may have taught them 'shut up'. Now they are using that to you.
cleme cleme - Parrots are often rehomed, so her parrots may talk what someone else taught them rather than what she taught them... ☺️

My 40 year child love to make all kinds of sounds in the middle of the night. She never talks when she makes all these funny sounds. She just a spoiled Red Lored Amazon named Red.

My Lilly watches and listen to this all the time. I can't get her to talk to me but she does to the video. It keeps her company when I'm not around her.

Virginia Kennedy her reward is my attention which is what she wants and y she repeats what i say and sings for hours to me because she gets my attention doing it. notice how she learned all of it without getting food rewards. a reward doesnt need to be food. its wtv motivates them. attention motivates her to repeat

You can't tell with many species of parrot. There are very accurate blood tests, or a vet can make a tiny incision and look inside to see. Cockatoo females have reddish eyes. Eclectus parrot males and females are very very different in color. But you can't be certain with Amazon parrots without a vet test, or if it lays an egg!
I've been researching for a year about getting a parrot. I have a spare bedroom to turn into the aviary, I have the time and I love them. I'm just so scared about the commitment. I don't want to make the wrong choice.
