How long have you been learning Russian? What method did you use? I've been trying to learn Russian, but I haven't really been able to pick it up. I can read some cyrillic letters and pronounce some Russian words, but sometimes and I can't understand what they mean.
@@christianogata5319 Good questions! I've been learning for a few years but progress is honestly pretty slow. It's hard to get into the habit of actually studying regularly. I use Duolingo for that, though. One thing I do more regularly though is listen to music like this. I listen to a new song at least a couple times before looking for the translation, and then after that I just listen for the words I just learned within the song. It's a better way to learn vocabulary because you learn more advanced words, and remember them better because you can connect them to a song you like instead of just a lesson from an app. It'll help your English also because the lyrics in songs like these are very poetic and profound. This is really the best channel I could recommend for music because of the spot-on translations provided, but Kino (Кино) and Molchat Doma (Молчат Дома) are also good for this, as well as just being groups that I enjoy. Hope that all helps!

@@FPS_Wingo The soviet TV archive channel where it was hosted (and where I got most of my footage) was taken down due to sanctions. I downloaded it before the conflict and right now I uploaded it to discord, so I'll share the link with you and if you click on it, the download will start. The quality is not quite as good but its better than nothing. Unfortunately many of the great videos there may become lost to time.

2) Waltz of gold epaulets (I think it's a correct word, lol) (Вальс золотых пoгон) by Dmitriy Poltoratskiy (Дмитрий Полторацкий ). There is also female version of this song by Agnia (Агния) - more of the chechen war theme
3) Paratrooper and VV ( Десантник и ВВ) (VV - Внутренние войска/Internal Troops) - by various artists - more of a soldier song than war one
4) Dandelions (Одуванчики) - also various artists - VDV song
5) Bulletproof vest (Бронежилет) - also by various artists - Afghan and Chechen war
