    So, since a wet-bath kit is important to me, the next step is to open up your rectangular shallow tupperwate, assemble your folding toilet w/bio-bags, hang shower curtain, and suspend your gravity-feed "solar shower" bag with nozzle (use cook stove to heat water to drsired temp for showering or washing dishes for filling solar shower).

    • @WindyTherapy
      @WindyTherapy  2 года назад +2

      You should definitely consider. (Other than the fun, they keep their value over time. I could sell mine today for 12-15% more than what I paid 2 years ago) 😍
      You don't need anything fancy to tow it ! I am actually consider buying an "old donkey" (a an older Vulcan 1500 or so) just to use as as "tractor". Thanks for stopping by my friend. Cheers, Eddie

      (I was just checking on the bike computer this past long weekend and I went from an average of 3.5 L/100 to 4.7 L/100 so approx 34% more. In the city is another story with the stop and go so .... I don't wanna know because I am sure it would suck 🍑 ! (I would say 50% more)

    • @WindyTherapy
      @WindyTherapy  2 года назад

      My Triumph struggles uphill because it lacks torque. (logically as a sport touring is designed to acceleration and speed) The torque is about 86 ft.lb while your HD can easily tow it with more than 100.

    How does the screen door attach to the floor? It's looks like velcro. To keep bugs out of the inside, every time you go in or out you have to reattach the screen bottom to the velcro of the floor?

    • @WindyTherapy
      @WindyTherapy  2 года назад

      Good question! Yes, there is a thick Velcro strip all the way across and works very well. The best way (at least for me) is to keep the bottom always Velcro’ed up and go in and out without undoing it. Thanks 🙏🏻 for stopping by. Cheers, Eddie

    When the excel is folded up how much storage is in the camper itself

    • @WindyTherapy
      @WindyTherapy  2 года назад +2

      Good question Wendy. It depends .... as a rule of thumb, most cargo can go on the top of the roof rack. (I travel with two dry bags, coleman stove, a folding table and the Jackery without issues) If you DON'T have the OEM mattress and use an inflatable pad or mattress then you can add about 6" of storage. Some people place two plastic totes that are about 6" high x 3 feet long inside. (great for clothes)
