@markusdiersbock4573 Hey, they are different colours, so i thought I didn't need to label them all through the video but I will keep that in mind for the next one!

@@BLIVEit In the end I did get the Air, and I’m pretty happy with it. Everything about it is amazing, but the thing I would say I love the most, is the M1 chip and how fast it is
@@BLIVEit I get you. I’ve been there. I guess the only reason to buy a Surface Laptop over a MBA is the touch screen. If you really need it, then go for it. Other than that, the Mac’s better battery life, speakers, and processor make it hard to go for that Surface
Hello Adan thanks for your comment! Sorry for any confusion. I compared the entry level model for the Laptop 4 to a Laptop 3 with the same 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD specs to make it the most fair, and you are correct the processors definitely differ.
Thank you for this lovely video, but it would have helped if you put on the screen which laptop is which. You kept changing between the 2 and it is very confusing trying to guess which is which
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos :) And for reference the Surface Laptop 4 is the Platinum one, while the Surface Laptop 3 is the Sandstone.
Just a feedback, you keep on switching both laptop left and right which can be confusing, should keep them on the same side from beginning to end. Otherwise, good effort, keep it up
Hello, the laptops are two different colours, so considering that it shouldn't be too hard to differentiate. And your feedback is noted. Thanks for sharing.
Hello, thank you for the review! :) Do you feel that there is any difference in contrast, colour accuracy or screen quality when comparing the 3 vs the 4?
Hello Chrysalis! I noticed a slight difference in colour accuracy please see 07:29 in the video where I test the laptops cameras, here you can see how colours appear on screen using the camera. I also found a difference in screen brightness at 05:27. Otherwise, I found no noticable difference in contrast or screen quality.
Hi Folu, I actually think the Surface Pro would work better for architecture as it has more comfortable and flexible drawing angles, and the screen can be used completely flat when lying on a table or your lap which the Surface Laptop cannot do (however if you don't mind drawing upright then the Surface Laptop may work well for you). When it comes to storage and RAM what you will need depends on things like the programs you plan to run, if you plan on using any cloud storage, the battery life and more. I'd recommended looking at the requirements needed for the programs you plan to run, and choose a laptop with matching or slightly higher storage/RAM for the best performance.
How are y'all handling the aspect ratio when watching netflix/youtube? I just got a Laptop 3 and I guess it takes some getting used to with the black bars in all the videos?
Hello, the trackpad on the Surface 4 Laptop 4 and Surface laptop 3 are both responsive, have a good click, comfortable to use and are the same size. I did not find any noticeable difference between the 2.
Hey m confused between surface laptop 3 or surface laptop 4 for my video editing and blogs stuffs, i dont want to go for screen touch one, can u please guide
Hi Bruno, the silver Platinum one is the Surface Laptop 4 and the Sandstone is the Surface Laptop 3. Both are labelled with the start up times during that part of the video.
My surface laptop 3 is fantastic but it does get hot at times. In your experience does the surface of either the 3 or 4 laptops get hot while working on them?
Hi Kareem! Yes, both get hot at times which I think is normal. Especially when updating, or when using it constantly for a few hours straight or if running certain programs like editing softwares for example or if multi-tasking with many programs open simultaneously. Also, as they age they tend to get hot faster I find. The Suface Laptop 3 does get hot faster then the 4. When this happens I tend to turn them off to give the laptops a rest for 30 mins or so, so they'll cool down before going back to work.
@@AbbyBReviewing It’s not about that, it’s that the Surface laptop 4 has a TPM 2.0 chip that encrypts all data coming to and from it, as well as other features for security if I’m not wrong
