The single Joy con grip controller thing helps playing games that require single Joy cons only (aka super Mario party) much more tolerable and doesn’t feel awkward at all. But since Mario party superstars is around the corner, I won’t be needing that anymore
The reason the Slime controller looks like a PS controller is because it is a PS controller. the section in the middle houses the touchpad for the PS4 version. There's also a PS2 version which that has a metal slime variant which is even more limited
