Yep great memories of sneaking into the disco at 15 to dance to this song and many others! 💃 They play her most currrent music at our local college radio station KAOS! Love Blondie forever. 🌟

Believe it or not there were many quality disco songs and "Heart Of Glass" is one of those.

Debbie, Chris, Clem, and the guys... Yup Icons that influenced so many. Their sound was definitely a fusion of so many genres. They were just doing their thing. And yes I'm sure the drugs helped them experiment and experience it all... As we all did. Blondie an all-time favorite that I was lucky enough to see and catch one of Chris's guitar pics. Great interview. Wish there was more of it here.

The Blondie band are true music "artists" that created songs with many different music styles

At the time that they were on top, I would say that they were straight pop!

Respectfully, they were new wave, not punk and certainly not the definition of punk.

Blondie were never, ever, punk. Maybe to Americans, but not the rest of the world. Same as the Ramones, not punk.
