I’ve been listening and watching videos online for over two years trying to pick out a tune, only till I watched this video slowed my self down I can pick out a tune big thanks.
I just saw your videos yesterday for the first time, and I loved it so much that it made me go through your whole channel. I love playing guitar blues and riffs and thus even I liked your Blues and Traditional Fiddle Riffs playlist. Trust me dude your channel is the best for learning blues and riffs. Hands down!
Awesome lesson Ryan. The bpm has to be close to 200, yes? Your instruction is spot on. As soon as I can get my fat and slow fingers to glide through the first couple of measures I'll buy the whole lesson. I gotta earn it first. Thanks again.
Downstrokes on downbeats and upstrokes on upbeats. Yes, quarter notes usually have just a downstroke. When there are consecutive eight notes then you get the 'down-up' strokes. Make sense?
@@mwr no I'm still confused. I read tablature with the staff included so I just use downstrokes for quarter notes and if it's an eight note I start with an upstroke then downstroke. I'm also confused about what's a downbeat or an upbeat. Idk what that means. Whether it goes up or down the scale I'm guessing?
watched the second arrangment on .75 speed and kept rewinding and watching the fingers. definitely took a little bit of time but i got it. thanks man
@austinkessler3717 Very nice man! That's a great way to practice. :)

I thought quarter notes were downstrokes and eighth notes were upstrokes?
