Is the internet connection at home Fiber? If yes, how are you connecting the SFP into the router? Are you using a converter? If yes then which one and how reliable it is. Also, I am stunned that absolutely no home router provides native SFP port.

Thanks for this very very informative session… just couple of questions.. today in 2022 does this still hold good or do you suggest any other model & 2. I’m in a 2 storied house, how well is the range of this or do u think ax5400 is the best ?
ax5400 is definitely better but just slightly. Rest Ax3000 ie performing amazing. It will works for story but if its just above after that 5Ghz signals will get weak
I loved watching your video. I too have a D-Link AC 1200 router and am using a TP Link wifi extender for one room and have a 300Mbps internet connection. What a coincidence. Everything is working more or less ok now. Yet, I have been wanting to upgrade to a wifi 6 router. I too have zeroed in on the Asus AX 3000 router. I have a question for you. How is the range of the AX 3000 router? From your video, it appears that after upgradation, you did not require the repeater you were using in one of the rooms, any longer. Am I right? Thanks
Sir how does motion sensor works in frame tv and how to activate it and another major issue is i cant use fit to screen option to play video from usb can u please help 🙏🙏🙏
Hello, the video was amazing. I am just confused between MU-MIMO & OFDMA applications as both allow multiple users at a time. As you said if we have small devices- requiring fewer bandwidths-OFDMA is better as it divides a channel. And MU-MIMO gives dedicated channels which I assume means whole bandwidth like 20MHz but it makes it equal to OFDM? Then how does it support simultaneous communication with AP? PLEASE REPLY.
Possible to check range on a room one floor above? I currently have a cheap 3k Tenda dual band router which struggles to reach the room on the floor above. Even with a range extender, the performance is sub-par. Amazon's replacement only policy has made it really tough to take a plunge for such tech products where you're unsure of the utility in your given situation :/
@@_arorarohit_ thanks a ton for getting back, appreciate it. This makes it so difficult to take the plunge. Sigh. Would you know of any place that still takes returns?
@@DakshSharma21 why not get it and use a smaller asus router to make a mesh later if required? Also buy from some other store you will get it for 12.5k. Or you can just go for a mesh system just to be safe.
Very well explained :) thanks. I am confused between Asus AT-AX55 and 58U. Seems worth going for 58U for that 160MHz which is absent in AX55. Any thoughts? Edit: and yes, not a fan of TP-link for some reasons though its cheaper ones . ;)
I think ax55 is a really good value, i might have gone for the same if it was available. Yes 160MHz will help but not sure if the difference justifies it. Rest its a great package
Thanks for your response and useful video (at least in my case). AX3000, I have ordered it this afternoon. Just to get future proof myself, I went with this.
Just an update: AX3000 was going to be delayed to be delivered so I went with AX55, it was badly needed since my 6-7yrs old Linksys EA6300 (AC1200) fused a week ago. ISP provided router is pain in the back. After using AX55 for 2 days, I can say I am happy with the performance. I am yet to check the data transfer speed over my WiFi but all in all I feel slightly better performance what I was getting a week before. (I have almost all WiFi 5 devices so no significant difference).
