Craft Ideas: God Says Wait

Like any good parent, God knows what is best for us, and doesn’t always give us what we think we want. We need to trust that God knows what’s best, even if His answer to our requests is “no” or “wait.” These crafts recall the promises God made to King David, which remind us that He is faithful and has good plans for us. A “Waiting Paper Chain” can be used for countdowns, crowns, or jewelry. A “God’s Timing Clock” reminds us to wait patiently on the Lord. Let’s get crafty!

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine. She spent several years in Georgia before being called to Colorado. She is overjoyed to be the mother of Samuel and wife of Colten, who also serves full-time at Risen Savior as Worship Director. In addition to enjoying her dream vocation, she also loves running, baking, music, history, and strong coffee.
