I was in Year 9 ( third year as it was called then) and thought Love Of The Common People was amazing. Still do. It always reminds me of the cold winter of 1984 and how much I loved music in what turned out to be the most exciting few years for rock and pop in the last few decades, as I think many would concur. In R.E we were asked to write about a song that had meaning to us in terms of community and a message about looking out for other people- I chose this track. The exercise book must have gone to landfill but the memory remains!

Most Bollywood actors mime to completely different playback singers, at least Paul is miming to his own song and besides I think he's given us so much great music over the years that I guess he's earned the right to mime now that he's getting on in years. I don't mind at all that he's miming, it's good to see him healthy and still looks cool with those moves. I'd prefer him to be miming and doing his thang, than not be here at all.

Knowing how Paul has sounded at singing within the last 10 years. He is miming and a large CD with large speakers are blasting out as it sounds like the normal version that hasn't been sang live.
@@baz810he needs to retire from singing just like the era of Genesis. Paul is good in food which is what he did. If anything Paul will sound good been on the radio just like Martin Kemp. Be nice to hear Paul on something like boom radio where he can play his favourite like Perry Como.

I find this really sad. Miming to a recording from last year is acceptable. Miming to a recording from nearly 40 years ago is just embarrassing. I appreciate he's 'lost' his singing voice and that must be tough to deal with but this is just cheating the audience and sometimes, you've just gotta know when to give up!
