An insight into today’s world of corruption and lost ideals, Shobhayatra follows the lives of six working professionals who are preparing to play the roles of Gandhi, Bose, Tilak, Nehru, Rani Laxmibai and Babu Genu for an Independence Day ceremony to satirise the corrupt society of today. Will the unique experience of playing the role of legends from the country’s history inspire a sense of justice and fellow feeling in these present day Indians?
