walahi i hate this subject
same, biggest regret choosing a level chemistry
fr paper 2 is looking long
exam is tomorrow, wanting to die
@@mikabzz9051me n u both
Nah chemistry is a bit fun even though I hated it my entire year. I have my exam in an hour
Single handedly saving my A-levels, thank you.
Chem P2 is tmr 🥲🥲.
day before chemistry paper 2!!! The theory behind it is tough but you explained NMR so well sir
did u pass?
@@isabdel3975 i am invested and want to know as well lol
same here lol, 1 year later!!
What did you end up getting?
That’s me today
watching this 20 hours before chem paper 2...
Thank you very much for putting together these videos, I've found them to be super helpful!
Always love the fun facts and trivia sir
love that im only now revising nmr woop woop
love love love
The most hardest topic known to chemistry students
Oh yes. Definitely one of the harder ones. Don't lose sleep over NMR!
Ty!
No problem
22.56 how does the two peaks show that the 2 carbons are bonded to an electronegative oxygen?
at 27:24 is that not ethanoic acid and not ethanol?!?!?!
at 8:05 is it not meant to be more emitted than absorbed initially? if not, could someone explain this a bit more please, thanks.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
facts tbh
at 39:00 how do you know if it's ethyl ethanoate and not methyl propanoate
Cause of the hydrogen environments I'm pretty sure, I think methyl propanoate would have more I'm not sure tho
at 32:15 how is the neighboring hydrogens 0 for the OH? Why isn't the carbon right next to it a neighboring carbon?
The hydrogen is attached to an oxygen not a carbon so you take it as a singlet.
at 22:17 why has the green carbon got the highest chemical shift shouldn't it be the red ones since they are closer to the electronegative element-Cl?
Nah because the green is closer overall. The red ones are just closer to their chlorine when the green is closer on average to the two chlorines.
wait do we need to know about ethers for ocr?
Nah g
Is OCR B year 2 next? :) thank you for making these, so helpful!
Just done a poll. The order is Edexcel (going on now) then AQA then OCR B (salters). All should be in by the end of next month.
paper 2 was soo easy
