    If “no one is building these amphoras anymore,” where are all the new amphorae in California, Oregon and elsewhere coming from? Surely those are not being bought used in Portugal and shipped to the US.
    Surprised you let the statement stand.
    Also, I drank a delicious bottle of Herdade de Outeiros Altos Talha in Evora in 2016. So this is neither “new” or “being rediscovered” by you in this 2024 video.

      What I mean is no one is building these talhas any more in Portugal - obviously they are still making them in Italy, Georgia, South Africa and Oregon, among other places.
