- Welcome back to the Mini Bass Boat video series! It has been over a year since I posted a video detailing this build, and your support drove me to throw together this quick follow-up. The boat itself has been working great and holding together perfectly.

Best one I've seen on RUclips so far
Thank ya man!
BRO!!! That is awesome! And your video editing skills are on point. Made watching this video extremely enjoyable. But it was the ending that really did it for me. That magnificent sunset!!! OMG! Epic footage.......Bro that was so beautiful and peaceful looking. That's what makes being out on the water in a boat versus the bank worth it!! Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
This is one of the best.
What trolling motor is that
Well done, your boat turned out great! I'm looking at doing something similar with my 14ft flat bottom boat. You mentioned in hindsight you would have changed a few things since you modified your boat. What would you do differently if you had to do it all over again?
Not so much the boat, just the production quality of the video!
And you can fish!!!
u could get a jack plate or just make one to improve your speed
Getting 20mph if it’s just me out on the water and I’m not rooster tailing, so I’m happy! But yeah a jack plate would be more efficient.
Just found your channel, going to start my boat build this fall. Is this mosquito lake by chance? Fellow Ohio resident btw
For some of it, yes!
This is awesome man. I'm from the youngstown area myself hit mosquito all the time. I just got my hands on a 14' sea king that I'm currently restoring. This video was awesome man gave me some good ideas. Thanks! Maybe I'll catch you out on the water sometime!
Hey man, sweet Baot. Just got my hands on my grandpas 12ft StarCraft. It’s identical to yours.
I see you have something mounted to the deck rail. I’m assuming it’s for a cover? I believe you have 3 on each side. Can you discuss that with me?
badass
Appreciate it!

Nice job. After motor, frame and decking, how close to the max weight capacity were you? And did you add any foam for added buoyancy? Im starting my own conversion today on a 1981 Alumacraft and looking for as many good ideas as possible.
We added extra buoyancy foam because the original had rotted out, but we remained well below the weight cap! Using aluminum for the main framing helped keep the weight down quite a bit
What's the trolling motor shaft length and trust??
45" x 55lb
@@Outdoor-Tactics how do you like it?? How durable is it?
@@austinj8522 Zero issues so far. Noticed that the lockup on the mount is awfully stiff at first but "breaks in" soon after. Please remember that my sample size is exactly 1.
@@Outdoor-Tactics 👍
nice boat bro. What part of ohio I'm up in 330.
Same here
@@Outdoor-Tactics nice man! You weren’t fishing portage lakes in any of these shots were you?
@@dr.h9309 never had the pleasure of hitting those lakes yet!
