Fantastic review of the TJM onboard compressor and exactly what I needed to see to make my decision on whether to go with ARB or TJM. It's TJM hands down, thanks mate 👍👍
Hey justin dude the old compressor was leaking all over the place when pumping, im sure the new one is better then the old but it was an unfair comparison hoping to hear from you guys and a rematch :)
I upgraded to this from the ARB single which ran so hot it was like a fire hazard. Good thing is the looms on this and the ARB are exactly the same so you can just plug one out and plug the other in on the same loom so no rewiring is necessary..
N Noddy Trying to look a little more intelligent 🤓 I’ve worn contacts since I was 20 and yeah the big 40 isn’t far away 😩, it has a small internal tank!
Depends what they’re charging for it. Speed wise the arb twin is quicker but if this one is substantially cheaper I guess a couple of minutes isn’t going to bother people
@@zeMasterRuseman unless your sucking it directly from the cylinder you not going to get enough C02 to make you drowsy, CO is more of an issue if you have to keep your engine running to save your battery.
Only for heat and if you let your tyres down for the beach/bush you need to reinflate with more c02 which isnt handy. Race teams use c02 due to the bottle being pressurised for a quicker adjustment, and better heat managment as air pressurises more with heat making it harder to keep tyres at constant temp on a track
It looks a good unit but what happens when it snuffs it and you need parts Parts have never been TJM's strong point and it's made in china, where as ARB are made in Australia and you can order parts from any one of their Hundreds of Stores. I don't care how fast it is, Not for my Money I'd rather buy a Trusted Brand with a good back up in place.

Mint compressor but ARB have had all these pros for a while now. Regardless it looks like a great product
Great bit of kit from TJM!!
So do you guys take your tires off when you air them back up
Great product, I’ll have to have a closer look at these. I just about to upgrade mine. You have saved me so much coin Justin. Love it mate well done
This is a single cylinder compressor so my question is are they releasing a twin version to compete with arbs twin compressor.
Turns out they did ;-)
Definitely going to look good driving around Hobart in the DMax

Rush,rush I go off-road to relax
Gotta have the fastest everything.not always, my compressor takes 2 beers maybe 3 😁😁 casually to pump up 4 Tyers.
Hey mate.where did u install the compressor.under bonet or in the cab?cheers
Hey mate, we install our compressors in the PCOR under tray toolbox 👍
I hope they are available in the states soon. Probably launching @ SEMA. :)

Fitted one to my Y62 last week. Great bit of gear. Easy install. Yet to give it a real test yet though.
Hey mate, where abouts did you mount it? ...was thinking under my false floor
Andrew B i have a hole in the base of my drawer systems fridge slide. Was able to mount it under there out the way.
Must have turned 40 - glasses! Welcome to the club.
Does it come with a tank?

Usually a sign of a welder
In the trade.
Too many weld flashes
Patriot Games can I add a air tank to this as well?
where to buy this 100 % duty air compressor..
Can we see a comparison with the ARB unit?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO
Wow looks mint but the wirring has been done before with the front and rear locker ready by arb
It would be interesting to see how the new twin compressor performs!
Maybe a single vs twin could be a vid you could put together.
Is there an Engine fan belt driven air compressor option, suitable for a 2010 model GMC 5500 equipped with a 6.6L Duramax Diesel Engine?
Can you mount it vertically by any chance ?
Thanks Nice Video.
Waaaohh! !! Go the Spec savers Justin. Hehe
Make it water resistant and that would be a beast under bonnet
That's pretty awesome
TJM finally have a competitor to the ARB twin?
Not even close lol.

Fresh battery for the 2nd test ? , better results with a battery connected to a running motor ? , still impressed all the same 😎👍🍺
Battery being used also looks like my amptec agm.... not ideal
Price? Does it fit on ARB brackets?
$350, not sure that will be a question for TJM. See here for more details www.tjm.com.au/en-oceania/product/tjm-hd-vehicle-mount-compressor
Pity they don't do a portable kit in the pro series like ARB do. Could make one I guess, would be better not yo have the hassle.
I watched to the end.. very anticlimactic. I think a tank is the way to go.. these things are sooo slow. 4 mins for a tire is way to slow for my add
I bought the ARB Twin with tank. Much better
I thought that Patriot had recruited Steve the Bartender for this review.
TJM ONLY THE BEST
Can I add a air tank to this
Hòw dò i hòòk àìŕ tank to it
CO2 still better is it not?
yeah if you want to fall asleep one day and never wake up.

But tellem the price son
7 members from ARB's board of directors gave this video a thumbs down.
Tap into my huge air horn nicely and diffs and tyres and mini air hose
Accent is really hard to follow without captions

ARB “assembled” in Australia
@@Turbofte So is everything made in Australia, But you still haven't said what happens when you need parts for your Sweatshop Compressor.
