Primarily based in Mumbai, Bathinda, and Shimla, Jab We Met tells the story of a feisty Punjabi girl, Geet Dhillon, who is sent off track when she bumps into a depressed Mumbai businessman, Aditya Kashyap, on an overnight train to Delhi. While attempting to get him back on board when he alights at a station stop, both are left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Having walked out of his corporate business after being dumped by his girlfriend, Aditya has no destination in mind, until Geet forces him to accompany her back home to her family, and then on to elope with her secret boyfriend, Anshuman.

South Indian movie comes with ample of unrealistic unwanted drama.
There are scenes where hero alone fights an entire group of 100 people with out weapon, where he climbs a cliff with a dead end by using super hero skills( but he is a normal person), where he survives even after being shot by 10 bullets, where he cannot sit on the chair the usual way and tonne of unbearable MELODRAMA.
Why would a normal person won't hate this shit.

But there are many realistic and practical movies also which I like too

Everyone is appreciating Geet's character and Shaied Kapoor's. Noone is appreciating Imtiaz Ali who is director and writer this masterpiece .... He deserves more than actors............: Imtiaz is a phenomenal director......
Direction is rather average. It's good script, with very predictable and stereotypical characters. But great acting. Main leads a d character artists aswell. That's why the film worked.

I watched this many months ago after having my wisdom teeth removed. I was in a lot of pain, but this movie helped me through it. We need more heartfelt movies like this!
This movie has soo many morals
1) Fall in Love with toxic selfish man like anshuman and he will tell you why you should not.
2) Geet innocently helped Aditya to get out of depression and she got her beautiful karma back.
3) Aditya in turn helped Geet to come out of depression without any expectation from her and he earned his beautiful karma too.
4) Selfish people shows their true colors as perfect time arrives just like anshuman.
5) Always follow what your heart as Aditya says
6) When you are kind hearted to toxic people, they in turn make you an unkind depressed person ever.
I am Indian but never saw JAB WE MET before, like NEVER, and the golden experience of watching it for first time with no idea what's going to happen is NOSTALGIC, Old Bollywood is really GOLD.😩😭 Watched- 25th Nov 2022, Completed - 15:48pm.

Congrats, for me it's a nostalgic childhood memory so that's why I revisit time to time 🙌🏻✨
You know: every girl wants a boy like Aditya who loves ❤ her deeply ..
I really cried hard 😢 when Aditya says *Geet* to choose Anshuman 🥺.... But at the end the true love wins 🥰😇it's 23 June,2022 and I'm still a hard fan of this movie 🎬 🤗
