Thank you so much Sheila! Sometimes everything falls in place just right. Doesn’t always happen though. I didn’t know this glaze would look this nice on dark clay. 🙏🏻💕
Hi Trace! I just now realized you are Trace haha! I always hear your voice when you do the videos with Nat from MudMagic. I love your videos. Thank you for your kind comment.💕
I loved this piece too! Great idea outlining the bird with S&C so your glaze doesn't run into the painting. I am gonna try that on my underglaze painted mugs. What oil did you use? Could I mix that oil with a black underglaze to do the same thing? Thanks for sharing!
@@FunkyPhish hi Michelle, I haven’t tried mixing the oil with black underglaze yet. I’m not sure if they would mix well because of the water content. But it’s worth a try. I use sesame oil or you can use linseed oil. Some people even use olive oil or mineral oil. I don’t know if you have checked out my other tutorials (playlist) but you can use black wax resist as well!👍🏻💕
😮😮😮 You are just such an amazing artist and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your talents, for free no less, to the rest of us. Thank you so much.

Ooh that's a nice one!
Thank you Kelli! This parrot was a last minute decision, and it was easy to paint!😊👍🏻
I remember in one of your earlier videos you mixed one other thing besides black iron oxide with the oill. What was that?
@@lianaholtochsner that’s Frit. It just makes the line work more shiny and sealed. I use a very small amount.
@@lianaholtochsner the recipe is in this video Liana:
