The mule
Happy 110th birthday in heaven today, Hank!
Brasil 🇧🇷
Cool, man!
this song came from down under
Conheci graças ao livro do Neil Peart. Adorei conhecer.
Truck driver wishes he never asked.
Damn! Cash turned this from a carnival sideshow into an action adventure!
Tbh I think Cash was really good at putting his own twist on songs he covered. I literally thought this was one Cash wrote till now haha. But similar to hurt, both versions are good in their own right. Chuffed I found this tonight though
Such talent such a great song
This is before cash’s version but the actual original is an Australian version by Geoff Mack
Here from the mule movie 🎥 🙌 👌
I no longer in good conscience go on stage with that boy, colonel
I'm playing this song in honor of Gabby Petito, may she travel to all these places and many more in spirit! RIP
and for that good for nothing piece of shit of a boyfriend she had, he'll only be in one place, way down in the fires of hell, eating dinner with Satan and the demons.
They can have the modern pop/rock/country poop that they try to pass off as real country music. I think it SUCKS. I'll take the real, authentic, unadulterated country music like this song by Hank Snow any day of the week....
Lmao you can prefer the original, but are you trying to say Johnny Cash isn't real country?
@@portalkombat1957 Merle Haggard was "real country." In fact, Johnny Cash said to him, “You’re everything that people think I am.” Fun fact: When Cash played his first prison show, at San Quentin Prison... Merle Haggard was in the *audience*. (Because that's where they sent you when you escaped from jail 17 times, lol.)
Giddy up
🤓🙋♂️👍
A million times better than Cash's version. Hank Snow sounds like a slick hitchhiker telling you about his adventures; Cash sounds like he's not sure how he got to be all those places.
LMAO!!!!!!!!
There both good to me tbh
Maybe. But how old was Cash while he recorded the song and how old was Snow singing this ? Btw, Cash was already very ill when he recorded the album
Canadian Treasure.

Way Better than Johnny Cash!
Johnny cash nailed it
The Mule
So who did the cover of this song, Hank or Johnny Cash?
Or should I say, who did it first?
I'm working on it lol I'm from the UK so I need to get used to the accent lol
