I’ve honestly not heard someone speak in Roman numerals since Caesar Augustus was a kid. 00:10

why are none of my classes like this? Its so nice that a processor is not expecting the students to use jedi mind tricks to complete assignments. Lecture should be required even if online.

Thank you. I appreciate this feedback. You are exactly right that I try to explain things clearly so that students don't have to guess what I want them to do.

Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately, not all case study analysis papers are the same. If possible it is best to talk to your prof and see what specifically they want.

Imagine that you were trying to park your car at the grocery store. The spot you are trying to fit into is really tight. You feel your car bump into the one next to you as you are pulling in. You get out and notice a small scratch among several other scratches on the bumper. You are not sure if you put any of the scratches on the bumper. What should you do? (This is step 1-summarizing the main problem and its setting.)
You could respond to this problem in several ways. You could get back in your car, park, and not say anything. Or, you could park and leave the person a note. Or, you could park and wait until the person comes back to their car. (This is step 2-listing possible ways to respond.)
For step three, you should-for each way of responding-identify the moral principles or theories that apply to the case. An example of a moral principle that might apply to this case is “A person should always be honest.” A person with this principle would probably choose to either leave the person a note, or park and wait.
For step four you justify-or provide an argument for-whichever of the options identified in step 2 that you think is morally best.
For step five you explain why the other options identified in step 2 are not as good as the option that you argued for in step four.
      Hope this is helpful.
