I think the difficultly of the second hand’s sketch is from the sculpture itself: it seems incorrectly proportioned.
Erasers are useful tools. If a pianist forgets a passage in the middle or end of a piece, he doesn’t start all the way back, from the beginning again.
Agreed here, somehow it works with the 3d sculpture but trying to emulate that on a piece of paper is impossible

You are correct, the sculpted hand is not right. In fact, the fingers are going the wrong way. Hold your hand up that way: your fingers all point inward, like crab legs, and his are pointing out, like a fan.

In the game Disco Elysium, there is a french novelty dicemaker character who sounds so much like you. I always got ASMR sensations at that part of the game. You scratch the same itch! I dont know if you make dice, but that would be a cool video haha!
