This loadout is actually mid-tier meta but I think I've been having a lot of fun playing boris, with the recoilless and spring grenades always have an lmg like the M60 for him, paik with a p90 or any SMG, C5 and smoke grenades.... Put just like you mentioned in the beginning of your video I play all of the specialists and use all of the weapons every day I practice on conquest with bots, and then play a real session with people😊😊😊
I totally agree on not following the meta. Tho it's really hard not to use the g57. But I will try Super 500 again. Big fan of the AC42. It really is dangerous and I feel consistent. Across all classes. The ACR is a similar burst fire that has some different attachments. Which I took halfway to tier 1. But back to Ac42 for general use. AC9 has been a recent find. I was finishing up recon Tier 1s with Paik. So I had started using her and the AC9 together on rush xl haha. It was absurdly fun. And very different than how I normally play as close recon with an AR. If you know how to close distance with cover you can really tie together some streaks. Personally I feel a piece of equipment that doesn't get used much, but I can't run without anymore is the EMP grenade. Blasco's passive ability to see equipment deployed makes it great to take out entrenched or hidden positions.
I like the DM7. It actually is a deadly semi auto rifle with close combat and can then suddenly 3 shot any enemy at range with high power , and the recoil is very low overrall
I feel like no one is using M240B and (at least on controller) it's really easy to control the recoil and go full rambo mode on close to medium range. Nothing beats 200 7,62 freedom rounds in the mag.
The meta in 2042 is so toxic, the VHX has absolutely ruined this game. Before then it was the RM68 and Avancys, before then it was the SFAR and PP19. It’s so tiring, I can’t stand how common it is nowadays. The assault rifle headshot multiplier is ridiculous, and the guy in charge of the balance is just sitting around not paying attention. He doesn’t properly fix things, all the nerfs are far too lenient and do nothing. I don’t like being annoyed about this stuff, I just really wish it wasn’t as bad of a situation as it is. I just want them to actually try to fix it.
Man, while yes I like these kind of videos and I myself cater to "non-meta weapons" (usually hard hitters/ slow RPMs like G3s or bursts), but I fkn hate terms like "sweaters" and "real gamers". If a possibility is available to run the "best" loadout people will. In BF2042 it's just more obvious because specialists shouldn't exist and on top of that McKay, Liz and Sundance in their current form are impossible to balance... still It's the Devs job to balance this out. But please stop using terms without real definition to divide communities & player bases

My favorite Specialist is Blasco … I love running support and providing spawn/disruption when taking enemy points. Especially as a squad leader. … currently challenging myself to max out the GVT 45/70 … it’s hard but when I make the shots it’s so satisfying! Now I'm really glad I was using an SMG in last night's vid 😅 Seriously though, my truth is I'm just not a good FPS player so I often struggle to see the differences / benefits of micro adjustments & variations. My favourite has always been the M4 and AK, particularly the AK as I prefer the slightly lower rate of fire with a higher impact. I can obviously feel the difference between SMG, Assault, Marksman and LMG, but within the classes themselves to be totally honest... it's like tasting wine when out with my wife. I just pretend I can tell the difference, who the hell knows 🤣 I really agree with your intro point about Specialists. I can't understand why people stick to the same one over and over again. You're shutting yourself out of all the flavours of the Rainbow. When you said Mackay with C5 and that's all you do... you know who I'm thinking of, and yes -- I am sick of listening to them complain about the lack of content when that's literally all they do!
3.5x scopes are great, but the 4.5x scope with the integrated irons sights are far superior, due to having no scope glint for some reason (last I checked, might have been fixed) and higher zoom. It’s on the SVK, and you can just swap to the irons when close range
You use most of the guns I use on daily basis. I only use AC9 when I feel like try harding. IMO it is a meta gun. I used to love AC-42 and I mastered it too but had to left the gun due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Can't tap too much :( My favorite specialists are Boris and Falck (only when I had to try hard) Currently trying to max out A-91, M-TAR and SWS. Keep pumping out this cool videos!
I wish more games would start adding the accessibility option for semi auto and burst modes to still be fired by holding the trigger. Playing 1000s of hours of Warframe or any game for that matter single clicking semis is a sure fire way to gain chronic pain and issues regardless of how much they are a favorite (and god did I love them in BFV some of the best memories on the Turner SMLE)
These are all really good picks. I T1’d the AEK and AC9 a while back when hardly anyone was using them because I found they just seemed to fit my play style better. Absolute bullet hoses. Also agree completely with the Super 500. I still choose to use it over the G57 or BFP any day. Currently working on the AK-24 which I find to be a really stable AR at mid and long-ish ranges.
G428 with both thermal scopes, subsonic ammo, silencer, on Casper. I'm having the most fun with this build. Use your drone while in a bush to spot your enemies or while protecting a flag if you play conquest.
Unlocked that last time I played cause I saw a video of a dude having fun with it. I play stupidly aggressive with it, and I did well unlocking some parts that made it feel quite comfy. I've always had a thing for marksman rifles, but in BF2042 my main has actually been the SFAR-M GL - in single shot mode, used as a marksman rifle. Initially when Liz could have 3 underbarrel incendiary granades and carry a ammo pack, this was filthy good on all ranges. Don't recall the scope I use the most, but it's a medium range and close up red dot in one package. So - full auto and red dot up close, the medium range part as main and an additional sniper scope for those extra long encounters. That's my go to fun gun. Time will show if the G428 offers similar satisfaction.
I'm a huge fan of the G428, it's my go to marksman rifle. I love the handling of it and it just fits my rhythm. That's one of the most important factors with marksman rifles I think, moreso than other weapon types as if you're not feeling the rhythm of your rifle you won't get the most out of it and likely change to a different type of gun pretty quickly. Used to run DMRs lots back in BF4 and so this one feels just right.
@@haydenthebrown My new fun. The Ghostmaker crossbow with thermal sights. Once leveled up to unlock the badabom-arrows, it's soo satisfying. But it's a chore when you run into people around a corner with SMG's.

I'm totally with you on the M60 making you feel like Rambo. I swear the hipfire is actually pretty good and I love its sound design too. I have also used the AC-42 a lot, so much so that I don't play it a whole lot anymore and only grab it when I feel like I'm not doing too well and I need to up my score. My all-time favorite gun is the M16A3 which I run with the M26 Buck, and the M26 slug. The M26 buck is an absolute monster and has more range than you'd intuitively think, I highly recommend trying it. The M26 Slug is a 2-hit kill at any range, and hilarious to drop people with at longer ranges. I also want to give a shout-out to my trusty sidearm: the M1911. I rarely see other people use it, but it drops people in 3 body shots (2 if one's a headshot) and is both accurate and fast firing. I love this pistol, it has absolutely zero bells and whistles but it does its job so well. Now, if you want to have some real special fun that is very different from what everyone else is doing. I have two setups for you. First setup is the shotgun sniper: load up the 12M Auto shotgun with slugs, the 2x scope, BCG light grip, and standard barrel. Bring an ammo box. It's 2-hit kill at any range, the massive drop on the slugs makes it an interesting challenge. Nail a sniper with this for the ultimate humiliation. Also most people are not familiar with slugs, they tend to be quite puzzled how they got killed at range by a shotgun. Number two is playing NTW-50 AA. Load up the NTW-50 with High power AP ammo. You will lose the 1-hit kill on infantry, but it has less drop making for actually better sniping. But that's not why you're grabbing it. The higher speed, accuracy, and damage on the high power ammo makes it a more potent anti vehicle weapon. You'll still only do 5 damage to a tank, but 23 damage per hit to a nightbird/stealth heli. And 14-17 damage per shot to a hind/condor. I like to use Irish for this to bring ammo, shootdown sentinels, and cover. The only sights you'll need is a holo sight and the 3x, and maybe bring a sniper sight to deal with snipers if you must. This playstyle will not bring you a glorious K/D nor a high score. But shooting down aircraft with the NTW? That is just divine.
I don't think I would have used it as much as I did without the AP underbarrel because I don't normally gravitate to DMRs in BF titles, but I am very glad I did, because it is a beast :)
AC42 was glorious before season 1. I swore by the HP rounds single fire. Slap on long barrel and the 6X and I was confidently dueling snipers. 4 hit kill at up to 150m was insane with how little recoil there was. DMR and snipers stood no chance and I didn't even need to use Mackay's strafe to give me the edge as I prefer Falck. BSV has effectively replaced the AC42 now.
Im going to try some of these out. My favorite is the XM8 LMG. It was my jam way back in BC2. Rush will always be my favorite mode and the XM8 has enough ammo to get in and set the charge, then a quick mag change and you've got enough sustain to lay down fire though the smoke at all the people running in trying to disarm. It's the perfect assault lmg.
I didn’t know Mackey was considered the meta. I thought it was Sundance since she is the main assault class I see and get killed by. I actually have such a vendetta against Sundance players for always hitting me with c5 while I'm either shooting down aircraft in the wildcat or in tank on tank fights in the MBTs or the tor.
Oh man Mackey is totally meta! His perk has been nerfed quite a bit, but he had faster movement while aiming down sight which gave him a massive advantage in gun fights. Combine that with the ability to use his hook onto vehicles to close the distance then C5 them, he was an all round monster. DICE have balanced down a lot of his strengths lately, reducing his movement speed buff and lowering the number of C5 which Assualt players can carry. All good changes in my eyes. Sundance is definitely very strong too.
I really like the pp2000 vault weapon lately. Feels like I can accurately drop people from further distances than normal and my shots land on target with the lower fire rate
I decided to give this a go as it is a weapon I've never touched (probably due to the fact that it is hidden at the bottom of the SMG list) It's awesome! It feels really effective even at longer ranges. The small clip size initially is pretty rough, but once you get the extended mag it is great! Thanks for the recommendation!
The attachments on the AEK are bugged and make no difference. I've tested this thoroughly when trying to red medal the gun. So you can run whatever you want and be fine
Oh absolutely! But no one uses them because they are all stuck to the VHX, or the current battlepass AR... There is a great variety of guns in the game and a lot of them play different, it's worth finding what you like.
Well, the reason why I preferred the single shot mode for the AC-42 was, back at launch, around December 2021, equipping the AC 42 with the high-powered ammunition and the long barrel allowed you to three tap enemy infantry out to crazy range with minimal recoil. It was kind of like a light version of the svk. You can imagine my surprise after recently installing the game and finding out that this is sadly no longer the case. There must have been a patch that severely tuned damage drop off or something in the past 3 years. It's still got a dmr role, but it is nowhere near the hidden gem it once was. For me, coming from battlefield 1, It happily filled the role of the self-loading rifles the medic class had, and I felt closer to home, trying to justify the money I wasted.
It has always been a goal of mine in each battlefield game I have played to rank up all weapons, soldiers, gadgets, and vehicles. Makes the game much more enjoyable to me to incorporate that variety. I'm still proud of the fact that in BF4 I had every weapon and almost every under-barrel, gadget, and vehicle ranked all the way up (aside from the under-barrel smoke launcher and a few other non-lethal gadgets. If I remember right there were over 150 items to rank up.
How is your progress coming along in 2042? Are you going to the T1 in all of the weapons? I always forget that in BF4 you unlocked attachments in loot boxes. It was such a weird part of the game which most people have forgotten about.
@@marzipandan767 Yes I have T1 most of the weapons. Still working on a few pistols and the gvt. 45-75 and crossbow. I've T1 most of the specialists too. I'm lacking Casper (his skill is way too passive for me to play consistently) Liz, and Crawford. It's been a struggle though, this game is not even close to the expectations I hold for BF games, so it's hard to pick up and play like I did with BF4.
Just a tip, ALLWAYS fill out your ammo slot so that you never run out of ammo. Even if ammo isn’t a problem, switching from, for example, close combat to high power rounds for longer ranges can be very helpfull. Depending on the gun, also fill out every underbarrel and optic slot. Same goes for the muzzle slot. (BTW, I also think that the PF51 is a underrated weapon. It does way too little damage, but is very fun. Just make sure to use subsonic rounds for slightly better range.)
I'm going for T1 on all guns, At the mo I have three hundguns left which I play constantly. But primary I switch up between all of them. But current favorite is M16A3, fast rate, little recoil and with burst mode you can pick of snipers.
After I hit T1 I move on. Completed all ARs, SMGs, and a good chunk of Tacticals, LMGs and DMRs. Can’t see me doing this for secondaries or snipers though.
Crawford should be able to detach his minigun and carry it around, like 'Old Painless' from Predator. The mount is a joke, see through bulletproof glass but still has that nice sniper headshot opening....lol.
The SVK feels like the ZH in Battlefield V. The ZH was very much a meta choice in that game for good reason. The SVK is a ZH with better recoil and a grenade launcher. Not sure why everyone is sleeping on it.
One thing I think people overlook is, when running the LS-1 laser sight for maximum hip fire potential, running a tactical compensator is great because it also increases hip fire accuracy by quite a bit, not just ADS accuracy.
I been runnin crawford with SCARH underbarrel APs, tank nade, x3 rpgs non-stop and im lovin it. My fav squad ends up always bein x3 crawfords + 1 falck, a squad like that with good vehicle knowledge can literally swap the entire battle results.
Great video! I stopped caring about the meta a while back. I just want to enjoy playing however the hell I feel like it. I love running the Super 500. It is hugely satisfying to get kills with. Also like running the M-16 A3 (I think that is the name) in burst mode. It just feels right for battlefield.

I love the ac 42 for my support class i usually roll a 2.5X sight for my primary sight. The zoom feels like the perfect trade of for accuracy and awareness for me
It's definitely my pick when I want a long-range rifle, but want something more spammy than a DMR. Its a top-tier weapon for sure and critically underrated.
I run A-91 with champion, since A-91 has always been famous for having an excessive amount of horizontal recoil. It's already accurate enough, I think it doesn't need tactical comp. My favorite sleeper weapon is P90. 50 round mag, exceptional hipfire and good damage, spray and pray playstyle
Love it. Been on a mission to master sub-optimal weapons in all the mainline Battlefield games (shoutouts to the Hawk 12G and M320 dart in BF4). I would personally rate the best shotgun in 2042: The underbarrel attachment for the SWS-10. Nothing beats the convenience, fire rate, and box-style reload. Plus, no-one expects to lose in a CQB fight against a sniper rifle. Not sure if it's a meta choice, but I also really enjoy the M16; I find it surprisingly competent at a lot of ranges. And a +1 to the A91 and SVK, although I found myself running out of ammo on the SVK more than any other weapon... Just run Angel and have unlimited power?
I’ve been enjoying using the ntw lately. It’s a one shot anywhere on the body up to 100m so it’s always fun playing from somewhere just outside of shotgun range up to that 100m. It feels super clunky, but that just makes it feel more satisfying to me lol. It’s really hard to snipe with it past like 150m, but I usually go angel with it so I can swap snipers or to another weapon if I want. It’s also very underrated for destroying vehicles. There’s been so many games where I get 3+ vehicles.
I’ve always been a fan of the RPK in almost every battlefield game. Run it on an engineer (Crawford preferred) and mindfully crouch/prone to get some bonus accuracy for the proficiency trait. It even has clean iron sights, so it can be a lovely simple and effective load out that is often my go to.
I have all AR‘s and all but one LMG at tier 1. Just got the crossbow to tier 1, mainly on Redacted! Currently working on the Type 88 and then I’ll be over to the SMG‘s to finish grinding them to tier 1. I really appreciate your content mate, intelligent content on Battlefield is hard to find nowadays. Thank you

@@marzipandan767 update on this. A lot of people test recoil by shooting at a wall that's not very far away. As with all all angles, a small degree difference at the source translates to a bigger difference, further from the source. I believe these recoil tests people do are flawed for this reason. I tested the 2 grips that could be used both ADS and Stationery. And tested with the champion and Arcon muzzle devices. Although only minor improvements can be seen over let's say 15 metres or so, when you're shooting at 30-50 metres, that improvement is a fair bit better

M60 is so much more fun with the Thermal scope for close, mid range. It's like a reward when you can see people before they can see you

Vcar on Lis, short barrel, the big laser, standard ammo and fusion holo. No emphasis on secondary, i don't really use it.

These are all really good picks. I T1’d the AEK and AC9 a while back when hardly anyone was using them because I found they just seemed to fit my play style better. Absolute bullet hoses.
Also agree completely with the Super 500. I still choose to use it over the G57 or BFP any day. Currently working on the AK-24 which I find to be a really stable AR at mid and long-ish ranges.
G428 with both thermal scopes, subsonic ammo, silencer, on Casper. I'm having the most fun with this build. Use your drone while in a bush to spot your enemies or while protecting a flag if you play conquest.
Unlocked that last time I played cause I saw a video of a dude having fun with it.
I play stupidly aggressive with it, and I did well unlocking some parts that made it feel quite comfy.
I've always had a thing for marksman rifles, but in BF2042 my main has actually been the SFAR-M GL - in single shot mode, used as a marksman rifle.
Initially when Liz could have 3 underbarrel incendiary granades and carry a ammo pack, this was filthy good on all ranges.
Don't recall the scope I use the most, but it's a medium range and close up red dot in one package.
So - full auto and red dot up close, the medium range part as main and an additional sniper scope for those extra long encounters.
That's my go to fun gun.
Time will show if the G428 offers similar satisfaction.
I'm a huge fan of the G428, it's my go to marksman rifle. I love the handling of it and it just fits my rhythm. That's one of the most important factors with marksman rifles I think, moreso than other weapon types as if you're not feeling the rhythm of your rifle you won't get the most out of it and likely change to a different type of gun pretty quickly. Used to run DMRs lots back in BF4 and so this one feels just right.

Once leveled up to unlock the badabom-arrows, it's soo satisfying.
But it's a chore when you run into people around a corner with SMG's.

You could go the easy route and use bot servers. I didn't, and it took me a while. But it makes me feel like I achieved something. :)
I'm totally with you on the M60 making you feel like Rambo. I swear the hipfire is actually pretty good and I love its sound design too.
I have also used the AC-42 a lot, so much so that I don't play it a whole lot anymore and only grab it when I feel like I'm not doing too well and I need to up my score.
My all-time favorite gun is the M16A3 which I run with the M26 Buck, and the M26 slug. The M26 buck is an absolute monster and has more range than you'd intuitively think, I highly recommend trying it. The M26 Slug is a 2-hit kill at any range, and hilarious to drop people with at longer ranges.
I also want to give a shout-out to my trusty sidearm: the M1911. I rarely see other people use it, but it drops people in 3 body shots (2 if one's a headshot) and is both accurate and fast firing. I love this pistol, it has absolutely zero bells and whistles but it does its job so well.
Now, if you want to have some real special fun that is very different from what everyone else is doing. I have two setups for you.
First setup is the shotgun sniper: load up the 12M Auto shotgun with slugs, the 2x scope, BCG light grip, and standard barrel. Bring an ammo box. It's 2-hit kill at any range, the massive drop on the slugs makes it an interesting challenge. Nail a sniper with this for the ultimate humiliation. Also most people are not familiar with slugs, they tend to be quite puzzled how they got killed at range by a shotgun.
Number two is playing NTW-50 AA. Load up the NTW-50 with High power AP ammo. You will lose the 1-hit kill on infantry, but it has less drop making for actually better sniping. But that's not why you're grabbing it. The higher speed, accuracy, and damage on the high power ammo makes it a more potent anti vehicle weapon. You'll still only do 5 damage to a tank, but 23 damage per hit to a nightbird/stealth heli. And 14-17 damage per shot to a hind/condor. I like to use Irish for this to bring ammo, shootdown sentinels, and cover. The only sights you'll need is a holo sight and the 3x, and maybe bring a sniper sight to deal with snipers if you must.
This playstyle will not bring you a glorious K/D nor a high score. But shooting down aircraft with the NTW? That is just divine.
SVK is really good, for me it is an alternative for the rorsh mk4.
I don't think I would have used it as much as I did without the AP underbarrel because I don't normally gravitate to DMRs in BF titles, but I am very glad I did, because it is a beast :)
AC42 was glorious before season 1. I swore by the HP rounds single fire. Slap on long barrel and the 6X and I was confidently dueling snipers. 4 hit kill at up to 150m was insane with how little recoil there was. DMR and snipers stood no chance and I didn't even need to use Mackay's strafe to give me the edge as I prefer Falck. BSV has effectively replaced the AC42 now.
AC9 is the beast on redacted. My go to load out with Blasco and Sundance. ultimate flank weapon...besides an LMG.
Im going to try some of these out. My favorite is the XM8 LMG. It was my jam way back in BC2. Rush will always be my favorite mode and the XM8 has enough ammo to get in and set the charge, then a quick mag change and you've got enough sustain to lay down fire though the smoke at all the people running in trying to disarm. It's the perfect assault lmg.
The XM8 LMG is an absolutely laser beam. It's great. I wish they would port over the XM8 AR, I used that all of the time in BC1 and BC2.
I didn’t know Mackey was considered the meta. I thought it was Sundance since she is the main assault class I see and get killed by. I actually have such a vendetta against Sundance players for always hitting me with c5 while I'm either shooting down aircraft in the wildcat or in tank on tank fights in the MBTs or the tor.
Oh man Mackey is totally meta! His perk has been nerfed quite a bit, but he had faster movement while aiming down sight which gave him a massive advantage in gun fights. Combine that with the ability to use his hook onto vehicles to close the distance then C5 them, he was an all round monster.
DICE have balanced down a lot of his strengths lately, reducing his movement speed buff and lowering the number of C5 which Assualt players can carry. All good changes in my eyes.
Sundance is definitely very strong too.
Yes the AC9! It’s so much funny jumping around a corner and rinsing someone. Goes well with Paik and her scanner.
I really like the pp2000 vault weapon lately. Feels like I can accurately drop people from further distances than normal and my shots land on target with the lower fire rate
I decided to give this a go as it is a weapon I've never touched (probably due to the fact that it is hidden at the bottom of the SMG list)
It's awesome! It feels really effective even at longer ranges. The small clip size initially is pretty rough, but once you get the extended mag it is great! Thanks for the recommendation!
The attachments on the AEK are bugged and make no difference. I've tested this thoroughly when trying to red medal the gun. So you can run whatever you want and be fine

Oh absolutely! But no one uses them because they are all stuck to the VHX, or the current battlepass AR... There is a great variety of guns in the game and a lot of them play different, it's worth finding what you like.
AEK-971 is the sweats weapon in battlefield 4. it's the meta from the past xD
Oh absolutely, it was busted in BF4, but very slept on in 2042 in my opinion :P Hopefully people pick it up and learn to love it!
Well, the reason why I preferred the single shot mode for the AC-42 was, back at launch, around December 2021, equipping the AC 42 with the high-powered ammunition and the long barrel allowed you to three tap enemy infantry out to crazy range with minimal recoil. It was kind of like a light version of the svk. You can imagine my surprise after recently installing the game and finding out that this is sadly no longer the case. There must have been a patch that severely tuned damage drop off or something in the past 3 years. It's still got a dmr role, but it is nowhere near the hidden gem it once was. For me, coming from battlefield 1, It happily filled the role of the self-loading rifles the medic class had, and I felt closer to home, trying to justify the money I wasted.
It has always been a goal of mine in each battlefield game I have played to rank up all weapons, soldiers, gadgets, and vehicles. Makes the game much more enjoyable to me to incorporate that variety. I'm still proud of the fact that in BF4 I had every weapon and almost every under-barrel, gadget, and vehicle ranked all the way up (aside from the under-barrel smoke launcher and a few other non-lethal gadgets. If I remember right there were over 150 items to rank up.
How is your progress coming along in 2042? Are you going to the T1 in all of the weapons?
I always forget that in BF4 you unlocked attachments in loot boxes. It was such a weird part of the game which most people have forgotten about.
@@marzipandan767 Yes I have T1 most of the weapons. Still working on a few pistols and the gvt. 45-75 and crossbow. I've T1 most of the specialists too. I'm lacking Casper (his skill is way too passive for me to play consistently) Liz, and Crawford. It's been a struggle though, this game is not even close to the expectations I hold for BF games, so it's hard to pick up and play like I did with BF4.
Just a tip, ALLWAYS fill out your ammo slot so that you never run out of ammo. Even if ammo isn’t a problem, switching from, for example, close combat to high power rounds for longer ranges can be very helpfull. Depending on the gun, also fill out every underbarrel and optic slot. Same goes for the muzzle slot. (BTW, I also think that the PF51 is a underrated weapon. It does way too little damage, but is very fun. Just make sure to use subsonic rounds for slightly better range.)
I'm going for T1 on all guns, At the mo I have three hundguns left which I play constantly. But primary I switch up between all of them. But current favorite is M16A3, fast rate, little recoil and with burst mode you can pick of snipers.
After I hit T1 I move on. Completed all ARs, SMGs, and a good chunk of Tacticals, LMGs and DMRs. Can’t see me doing this for secondaries or snipers though.
Crawford should be able to detach his minigun and carry it around, like 'Old Painless' from Predator. The mount is a joke, see through bulletproof glass but still has that nice sniper headshot opening....lol.
I T1 then move on.
AC42 is great and T1 very quick.

The SVK feels like the ZH in Battlefield V. The ZH was very much a meta choice in that game for good reason. The SVK is a ZH with better recoil and a grenade launcher. Not sure why everyone is sleeping on it.

Svk was my first choice but then abandoned it. I agree with the ac 42 and the a-91 it is stupid good
One thing I think people overlook is, when running the LS-1 laser sight for maximum hip fire potential, running a tactical compensator is great because it also increases hip fire accuracy by quite a bit, not just ADS accuracy.

XM8 probably my favorite vault LMG and I was surprised at how much I liked the Type 88 considering how much people trash it.

I been runnin crawford with SCARH underbarrel APs, tank nade, x3 rpgs non-stop and im lovin it. My fav squad ends up always bein x3 crawfords + 1 falck, a squad like that with good vehicle knowledge can literally swap the entire battle results.

Dm7 with 2.5 scope and a decent trigger finger is a laser for short to mid range
Great video! I stopped caring about the meta a while back. I just want to enjoy playing however the hell I feel like it. I love running the Super 500. It is hugely satisfying to get kills with. Also like running the M-16 A3 (I think that is the name) in burst mode. It just feels right for battlefield.

I love the ac 42 for my support class i usually roll a 2.5X sight for my primary sight. The zoom feels like the perfect trade of for accuracy and awareness for me
It's definitely my pick when I want a long-range rifle, but want something more spammy than a DMR. Its a top-tier weapon for sure and critically underrated.
I don't have time to play often enough to keep up with what's meta.

I run A-91 with champion, since A-91 has always been famous for having an excessive amount of horizontal recoil. It's already accurate enough, I think it doesn't need tactical comp.
My favorite sleeper weapon is P90. 50 round mag, exceptional hipfire and good damage, spray and pray playstyle

Love it. Been on a mission to master sub-optimal weapons in all the mainline Battlefield games (shoutouts to the Hawk 12G and M320 dart in BF4). I would personally rate the best shotgun in 2042: The underbarrel attachment for the SWS-10. Nothing beats the convenience, fire rate, and box-style reload. Plus, no-one expects to lose in a CQB fight against a sniper rifle.
Not sure if it's a meta choice, but I also really enjoy the M16; I find it surprisingly competent at a lot of ranges.
And a +1 to the A91 and SVK, although I found myself running out of ammo on the SVK more than any other weapon... Just run Angel and have unlimited power?

I’ve been enjoying using the ntw lately. It’s a one shot anywhere on the body up to 100m so it’s always fun playing from somewhere just outside of shotgun range up to that 100m. It feels super clunky, but that just makes it feel more satisfying to me lol. It’s really hard to snipe with it past like 150m, but I usually go angel with it so I can swap snipers or to another weapon if I want. It’s also very underrated for destroying vehicles. There’s been so many games where I get 3+ vehicles.
I’ve always been a fan of the RPK in almost every battlefield game. Run it on an engineer (Crawford preferred) and mindfully crouch/prone to get some bonus accuracy for the proficiency trait. It even has clean iron sights, so it can be a lovely simple and effective load out that is often my go to.
One more comment, because why not :D The XM8 is a pretty cool alternative to an Assault Rifle.
@DanPyjamas the XM8 is awesome, I would have loved if the Assualt rifle equivalent from BC2 made it over to 2042, but allas, it seems it won't.

I have all AR‘s and all but one LMG at tier 1. Just got the crossbow to tier 1, mainly on Redacted! Currently working on the Type 88 and then I’ll be over to the SMG‘s to finish grinding them to tier 1. @@DanPyjamas honestly, I can't tell, except on the LMGs where a reduction in the spread is quite significant when you are spraying.
@@marzipandan767 Ah thats good to know. I saw a reddit post that tested the grips and found there was little discernable difference compared to not running an underbarrel. May do my own testing on both of these.

@@marzipandan767 update on this. A lot of people test recoil by shooting at a wall that's not very far away. As with all all angles, a small degree difference at the source translates to a bigger difference, further from the source.
I believe these recoil tests people do are flawed for this reason.
I tested the 2 grips that could be used both ADS and Stationery. And tested with the champion and Arcon muzzle devices. Although only minor improvements can be seen over let's say 15 metres or so, when you're shooting at 30-50 metres, that improvement is a fair bit better
