People are amazing and so different. I can't concentrate with background sounds . Guess we had too many decades with Sermons, talks, movies with no background distractions. I love listening to these, and I appreciate the work involved, BUT when I try to sleep with both talking and background sounds I wake up tired, grumpy an lacking good sleep. isn't life amazing?

I love this channel. The Lord knew this combination of music and voice would be a unique gift to me. Thank you Streams of Scripture. I know many of these verses by heart so it is easy for me to listen and understand. If a person is new to the Word I would recommend listening to the “voice only” version until the Word is etched into the heart. Blessings.

Just wanted to say this is very nce! Ive been using it to get more exposure to scrupture at and vbefore bedtime. I did add captions and that helps whenbi glance as t the TV . Lovely reading! Thank you!

Are these recorded in twin track so that we could remove the sound for those who find it distracting???
The music overrides the scripture. I think it should be half the volume. It’s almost like the Scriptures on the background. And I’m looking to listen to the Scriptures. I really like the eight hours. I was really happy to see the repeating of this book. Thank you so much.
I agree that the music is not the right rythm for the spoken voice. It rises and falls loud and quiet out of rythm with the spoken voice. It’s just random canned elevator mood music that randomly fades in and out. Music that is written for singing is always in sync with the natural rise and fall of the human voice and would be a better choice such as many of the hymns

Girl, there are PLENTY of scripture only (no music) opinions on RUclips and other social media outlets. You don't like the music you have the God given free will to move on.
As usual , the background music is too loud and distracting . I know people who don’t attend church because of the obsession with music , and I go late because of it. There is no getting through to music obsessed people , though .

Depending on what you’re listening to. On my iPhone scriptures are more defined in on my TV and seems like it’s different.
