What I've done lately is resist urge to put hard goals on myself. I also quit drinking over a year ago which had a dramatic change on my rest, attitude, and life. I wasn't a big drinker but it was a trigger to bad eating, sleep etc. With a family, so many variables in my schedule with kids and surprises that taking away the goals took a lot of pressure off and I actually do more and feel better about it. I also started working on mobility, flexibility, and calisthenics at home instead of having the pressure/time of "going to gym" . The time commitment to go there is way to high and it costs a lot. I think for me as a vet that I get way more out of working out at home on movement and strength applies to the bike and sport much more. Plus, I can do it whenever I get a time window. I still have goals in the back of mind about racing this summer but I don't dwell too much on them. Thanks for the podcast guys and Coach don't put the blame for everything on yourself. Seriously, lots of reasons things happen and you shouldn't blame yourself in that way.
Love this. Since I’ve started with Coach I know always make sure I am fed, hydrated and rested before riding. Hasn’t made me any faster 😂 but I can ride for hours without getting tired. Knowing i am fed, hydrated and rested allows me to figure out and or focus on other weaknesses. Keep up the work guys. I appreciate you all showing the Vets some love. I believe “Vets” are the majority of the riders spending money on moto, bikes, etc and the majority at your local tracks. And very little go out there fed, hydrated and rested. Us Vets must do better 😂😂😂
Another good show gentlemen! One of my issues is, I will have moments in my life with extreme focus on a goal but then the focus just goes away. I don’t know how to keep that level of focus. It is almost like a switch when it’s on it is ON! and when it’s off it is OFF! The classic and cliche example being a healthy weight. Keep up the great work guys!

LOL - if you don't slow down, you are faster! Keep up the great work Julio.

Thank you for watching! This sounds like exhaustion - you go until you can't any longer.
I use to set aside 6hrs a night for sleep and last couple of years changed it to 8hrs set aside
Game changer for sure!
@CoachRobbBeams yes sir!! Enough of a game changer I'll never go back and look for ways to get more lol
Sorry guys. I have to disagree with your #9. My immediate thought went to Marty Smith on that big red factory Honda with Fox air shocks. Great show.
You nailed it! Absolute Legend - Fox air shocks.
Staying in shape is motivation for doing anything in life. Not a popular concept at the Taco Bell window.
Quote of the day for me! Priceless. Thank you for watching.
