- You think this is a GAME?! It is. I challenged 3-year-old Nayely and 6-year-old Amalah to a game that would determine the outcome of their Christmas! Am I talking about Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving?! Absolutely. Did we go ALL OUT with Christmas decorations in mid-November?! No. BIG THANKS to @gfccreative for filming and conceptualizing this! This is not our house, our decorations, or our dog. The girls also may or may not be mine.

My name's La Guardia Cross. I make music, art, film, and I co-created 2 baby girls with my wife, Leah.
New Father Chronicles began in November of 2014 when my daughter Amalah was 1-week-old. I had no idea what I was doing, so I decided to chronicle my journey on RUclips and make fun of myself along the way. Our 2nd daughter, Nayely, was born in April of 2017.
My channel is filled with the silly adventures I have with my girls, infant and toddler interviews, my interpretations of their babble, silly skits, and the things I've learned or unlearned as a parent. Sometimes Leah and I mix it up a bit and share some pretty personal moments as well. Why? Well, we're far from perfect and we've learned a lot from our mistakes.

I’ve noticed this in a couple of videos: Amalah is such a logical thinker and she expresses herself so well, too. She’s very assertive and articulate.
Amalah is a natural born psychologist. She gets hers from the deep but Nayely still got them cookies though.

Wow it's quite interesting how your game shows the difference in thinking between a 6 year old and 3 year old. A 3 year old may not understand the concept of delayed gratification and just goes for anything in front of them (probably explains why they get distracted more easily). Whereas a 6 year old is able to evaluate between immediate and delayed gratification and make an informed decision. Amalah tried to strategise and find alternatives to get the cookie by repositioning herself, and she even asked Dad the question "Do you want me to win?" Which means she's able to question another person's perspective. Really heartwarming and impressive sometimes to watch kids grow and develop over the years.
