Brrrrrr...even when it's very cold fish will still bite... it's nice that lake often has very little boat traffic when it's cold... makes it easier to fish where you want without interference !!! Best wishes to TEAM WELCHER 2022 !!!
Happy new year Kyle!. Even though before the cold front, I started off 2022 with a 7lbr on Jan 1. Water was slightly muddied up due to all the rains, so i was fishing tight to cover with gold bladed spinnerbait. Like you mentioned, same cast over lay down like 7x before she it! Paid off!

Never met anyone from Louisiana that was not a good fisherman. GMAN is gonna be hungry too. That being said Ol Kdub aint scared. I think this is gonna be Team Welchers year. I predict Hunter gonna be crying those happy tears again. #justdontsuck
I wanna see a video on what to do during a big tx when u have caught them good all week then u all of sudden put 150/175 boats on the water and u can't hardly get bit...

Lower Boat traffic in winter is definitely the biggest perk
