I started an anti-anxiety medication about a year ago due to both of parents health declining. They both mean the world to me. It's done wonders for my anxiety but KILLED my libido. At first, I thought this was a negative side effect but soon realized it's a positive one. No longer am I led around by my libido. I see a beautiful woman, I don't even think twice. What's odd is that I am getting more looks, friendly interactions and offers for dates than I have ever have. I think these women can sense my take it or leave it attitude...and they are right. The only bummer is now I have a large surplus of available women but no libido (drive) to actually pursue them. It's like a double edged sword.

With quite similar results - desire for women went away completely, I just see them as PEOPLE. When they use their feminine "powers" I notice it, but observe it as a technique has been deployed to gain control over me. Instead of taking an effect on me I observe what she is doing with curiosity and calmness. It is quite amazing that instead of being yanked by womens attitude I just observe them and learn the absolutely amazing diversity of how they engage men to do all sorts of things for them without anything in return, just a few minutes of being under a spell. And yes, the downside is that I have no need for them anymore, and even the idea of spending time with people like that is annoying. I have recently had a similar outcome where I broke the law (simply caring too much and coming across as needy probably). I've seen this girl weekly as she serves at a shop I visit. Immediately last time I knew something was off, all attraction gone. I reacted immediately by thinking oh well fk it move on and became outcome independent and stopped trying instantly. Because I pulled back her respect for me seemed to return, but probably not fully. LFA said something specific that resonated which is I am/was just not ready yet and to take a breather. I'm ok with it, learning takes time and effort, the only productive direction to go in is forward through the pain or else remain in this state forever which is NOT an option. Stay strong brother.

So, question fro you LFA. When you "break the law" so to speak. Ya know, some of us like you mention, are prone to this unlawful behavior. So when you "break the damn law" do you really think there's a psychological finality there as in pretty much every woman is then repulsed forever, beyond a doubt? Is there a psychological trigger that, when broken, can't be repaired? Also, do you think it could just mean you aren't meant for each other? I have had trouble with the stakes with people I really like, and unfortunately for me that leads to law-breaking. I'd like to think I can unlearn these damn habits, but if not, I just wonder if it aint meant to be with this person and that's what triggers the unattractive behavior. It's a disgusting feeling 😅 and is very punishing as you say.
I have recently had a similar outcome where I broke the law (simply caring too much and coming across as needy probably).
I've seen this girl weekly as she serves at a shop I visit. Immediately last time I knew something was off, all attraction gone. I reacted immediately by thinking oh well fk it move on and became outcome independent and stopped trying instantly.
Because I pulled back her respect for me seemed to return, but probably not fully. LFA said something specific that resonated which is I am/was just not ready yet and to take a breather.
I'm ok with it, learning takes time and effort, the only productive direction to go in is forward through the pain or else remain in this state forever which is NOT an option.
