A lot more joy and exuberance from this group and others who have tackled Philip Glass's music, especially see Uatki for their tramsformative playing. Bravo.
9:26 This sounds FIRE on my high end stereo system playing the Perpetulum CD that I highly recommend! Proud to be a hardcore PG fan since the early 1980's.
Wow, so good! I don't know a lot of Philip Glass's repertoire, but it does seem like the chord progressions in this piece were modulating around a bit more. I love all the textures that pop out of the different rhythmic strokes that each player plays. What a fun piece to get lost in, brilliant work Third Coast Percussion!
It's interesting that Glass composed so well for percussion, even though this is by no means his best work. It lacke some of the driving patterns and textures of his best-known works.

Excellent performance. I consider Philip Glass as the Greatest Composer in history of Music.

oooo y'all commissioned this from Master Glass himself? awesome :D it's amazing, as always, both the piece and y'all's performance :3
Congratulations, TCP! I'm especially enjoying the soft delicate sections. Bravo!!!

Shostakovich wrote some "piece" for percussion. From opera "Nose".
Wonderful work guys!
Uuh this great piece finally in video form aswell
I'm interested in how different it is from what I expect to hear from Philip Glass.
Brilliant. -G
And, what about S.Gubaidulina's Glorious Percussion??? , - real Masterpiece.
