@@goldenguest778the_real actually i'd say the timeline is pretty confusing, because in castle crashers you kill pretty much every single alien, but in alien hominid invasion (game 16 years after alien hominid) the whole crew is alive Though i can understand you think this way cuz you made that comment before alien hominid invasion was revealed
I think it’s just one of those things that wasn’t really meant to be questioned, like they probably don’t have a reason for it, they just decided to make the last boss, not a human or robot or monster of some sort, but instead another alien that’s the same species as the alien you play as, just a buffed up one, but I guess you can also form your explanation, like maybe he was an alien that was brainwashed and experienced on, to be used as a super soldier, or maybe this alien hated his own kind because he saw them as weak, so decided to team up with the humans to destroy all the other aliens, I think it’s sometimes better when a developer or artist/storyteller, doesn’t give an explanation, but instead leaves it up to the viewers to form their own ideas.

Alright dude i think i understood the timeline: Battleblock theather is the full scenario of both castle crashers and alien hominid connection,that explains why does the aliens appear in cc's story ,and the buff alien also appesrs and then he destroys the ship for revenge,that means that probably alien hominid occurs before cc
