Hi Freyia, I am amazed with your talents, and that of your husband also. I visited Norway some years ago and stayed with a friend. I was able to visit the cabin of one of her friends which belonged to her family in the mountains. I went for a walk around the cabin and was amazed to find some reindeer horns! Unfortunately i could not bring them back to the UK. The experience of that visit has stayed with me to this day. Freyia, although I am intrigued with your powers and also your gifts, I am a vegan, and wonder how that would fit in with your practices. Especially using calves ears as decorative necklaces. I have made my own set of runes from collecting some stone pebbles from the edge of a Fiord on mid summer night. They are very special to me, but I only have a book to follow when casting a reading. XX

No none of them is dead, they get marked with a family mark (cut) so that herders know who belongs to who. Calves marking is a celebration of life no slaughtering is involved in this process.
