It doesn't really have to be super realistic, it is a game after all.
That's why people store stuff in the trunks of cars. Trust me having a stash car is very helpful
Or not enough shelf space and things get knocked down or over
Also, when looking at storing rucksacks without having to overstock your base. Consider finding a spare van and just stocking it with all the rucksacks you are not ready to dump into your base. That way you can withdraw on a need basis. Rather then have to hunt the stuff down.
Sky Rim recommend multiple vehicles parked close to base to optimize this trick
have like 12 vans/trucks/SUVs around my base for this very reason
Sky Rim I have like 6 vehicles with trunks full of extra rucksacks. Fuck if my ass if going to be stuck running around every day

When there was a glitch to where the jeeps kept spawning with the same resources repeatedly every time I logged into the game I took them to my base and used them as walls to block off enemies cause they can't climb them and I also used them to hold rucksacks. I have over 10 of the same jeep, just different colors.

yup, beat it all four times on standard mode with each type of leader and now almost finishing up the first run in dread zone with a builder leader.
Did anyone wonder why npc characters (or not in use) have a habit of leaving gates and doors open, like i isn’t important lol
I have a friend and when I joined the game this NPC would open the gate after I closed it I would get mad lol that NPC was an asshole

Loved the first one. Love this one too... Just a hint to people who don’t know how to auto load your car when parked at base... it was automatic in the first game. Now if you park at a car spot at base, then open the trunk. Look on the screen and it will tell you what button to press to auto load everything from the car...oh and subscribed brother.

I’m a early access player, played this and completed a Legacy, yet this is useful and I knew all of the tips.
For Plague Hearts: I would bring a Timberwolf, you can get this rifle from a Mysterious Wandering Trader for about 1,000 influence. Expensive, but it takes down the heart in 2-3 shots with it.
But the tips are pretty good!

You can talk to the person following you and give them the rucksack its much easetlyer
1.The best way is to use vehicles for storage
2. Use make every house Thu go in to an outpost clean it out and move to the next house and make that an outpost.. And so on
This way you can cover a lot of ground with you and a follower with a van or truck to put sack in
About the excessive loot, i just put it in the back of various 8 trunk space veicles, parked at my base and when needed, i transfer to the base! Te little car with trunk in the top and the van are the best ones for space! Until now, didn't find any other veicle with more space!
A tip of mine is to bring vans to your main base and use them as storage for extra rucksacks 👌

Another way for cardio is when you are in coop just run around the home base while waiting for everyone
Grizex you can also loot and complete missions in daylight and then run around the outside of your community at night, killing straggler zombies (helps keeps the sieges down) and leveling cardio/fighting all at once.
For storage space, if you over fill a resource, go pull the rucksack back out and place in a storage vehicle. Then no risk of having stuff fall apart while your away

You can actually just talk to your follower from your community and just give them the rucksack that way, that’s how I’ve been doing it lmao
Ikr I was a bit confused when he said you have to change characters, talking to the character and giving them the rucksack is much quicker and easier.
Just got myself Game Pass, after avoiding it for a year or so. JUST THIS GAME ALONE, is worth it. I love it, and it's become my new grind game. Just dropped you a follow, keep up the good work and positive attitude!
Found a cool exploit on drucker county. When the find gps coordinates mission begins if you find the vaganond bring it back to your base. dont use the character and complete the mission. If you bring the vagabond back it will continue to re appear until you compete the misson. ive collected 6 vagabonds before i fished the mission. This gives unlimited rucksack storage!!!!
You don't need to go the Community screen to switch between you lead and the follower. Just go up to the follower, select Y to talk and ask them to take over. Now they're the leader and the former leader is the follower.
Found some updates tried and tested Running in a tight circle works for smaller area eg. Later game's characters when there's not much room. Talk to followers and there is a switch option rather than going through menus
Um, for the follower thing on giving them sacks and what not, if you simply access the inventory, it will have a button in their menu switch to yours, and you can trade it directly to them
Something you and others should know. You do not need to change characters to make your follower have a rucksack. If you have a rucksack on and you talk to them, there's a "give Rucksack" button, which transfers it instantly into their inventory.

In tutorial map i was lucky to find an automatic 12 gauge gun with 50 capacity that have a amazing suppressor, it was in the mountain in an abandoned pick up truck near the train station watch tower but since loot is random i doubt it will be the same for everyone.

I actually enjoy finding extra loot. Obviously I'd you deposit the rugsacks it will go into storage. But what I like to do is have a lot of cars in my area and keep all the rugsacks in the trunk. That way they are untouched and unused!! There are no rules telling you to deposit every bag you find! I definitely leave them Inside cars I find.
Jurzy0, an idea for People if they do collect a large supply of Rucksack's is to find a Van, drive it to your base and fill it up with Rucksack's. As well as using your second vehicle to store them until you use it, in which case you transfer them to your first vehicle.
(The first and second being the vehicles you use often, the Van just stays at your base).
50 cal for plague hearts. 3 shots done. Actually kills it so fast that when the zombies spawn in to attack you, they disappear before they can.
Just keep those excess rucks in the trunks of your cars parked outside the base. Cargo Vans are great here; they have eight slots each.
Actually an easier way to give rucksacks is if the character you are currently using has a rucksack and you go talk to your following player there’s an option that says give player rucksack. Way easier than going through the menus.
If u start to over fill ur storage for food or whatever just pack it up and put it in your locker then when u need it pull it out and store it
Best weapon is you knife/screwdriver/fork/etc. Pair it with close combat, acrobatics and stealth. Dodge or sneak behind zombies, grapple and kill. Use a shotgun or explosives for hoards.
And if you master the dodge and kill, you never have to worry about a broken weapon.

Yea I fill up my base with random cars, usually around the parts of the base where zeds jump in or the back entrances. If you block all entry ways a few of them glitch in but not full on wave. Also you can store all your extra sacks in the cars around the base.

Just run in a circle & you can talk to your 2nd character and switch to them that way...
I've found any 50 caliber rifle will do major damage to plague hearts 3-5 shots ...gone ,done deal. That's all I use to get rid of them. Works quickly and very rarely do I get any damage .

7:30 I find that very early in the game it’s best to search around the map for a lot of vehicles, and I bring a full trunk of rucksacks home then take another vehicle out and fill that one up and repeat the process until I have a variety of rucksacks in those vehicles.
They don’t decay while in your trunk so you can store them until you need them. although it does take up the storage of your cars, I try to find stuff with bigger trunk spaces usually being the repair van or any van/truck. Then I have one or two that I use regularly for missions and whatnot
Sidenote- I was playing offline when I did this, people can access way too much of your stuff in the game online, if you could lock the trunks or cars preventing random people from access to them that would be cool but sadly that’s not a feature and people could just join and take your rucksacks in the cars

I have to say, this immediately got me hooked and subbed. I just want to say you said you had an armoury but you need a warlord to access that. Which brings in RNG but you can get it. But still great vibe, very informative. Absolutely love it

the tip for having another player follow you and help carry rucksacks is way over complicated you can pass them a rucksack just by talking to them. when you talk to them itll give you the option to give that character a rucksack without ever having to switch
the fastest way to destroy plague hearts, use a .50 cal timberwolf. Takes only 3 shots to destroy one

you do not need to switch characters to make them take a rucksack guys, just talk to the person with you and there will be an option for giving them a rucksack

Guys my advice is 1. Always try to do the sneak attack kill by dodging behind a zombie then grappling it 2. Try get the eternal guard infinite rage ak47 it’s op af 150 bullet magazine and if you have a bullet press those zombies are fucked

Btw if you back off from the character choosing screen from the tutorial and go start a new tutorial the character stats and names will change!

You're better off skipping the tutorial all together and rolling 3 random survivors.
This game needs a complete overhaul. Now-a-days I'm playing Mist: Survival. So much better than SOD. Wish SOD 3 is a mix of Mist: survival with Fallout kind of building management.

Idk if it changed, but to get my follower to equip a rucksack, i equip the rucksack to the player i am controlling, and then i talk to my follower and select the choice, "give rucksack." The rucksack that my character is carrying is transfered to my follower, and i can pick up another rucksack.
Still the same but that option wasn't in the game when it came out first, They did add that later in another update :)

I had more than enough influence points. One question how do change the firing rate of a weapon? I noticed with the DLC weapon i may have 20 rounds and it shoots all 20.
Man but there's some really game breaking bugs in the game. I've lost a lot of cars, items, and characters to bugs. In fact I think in every single case a bug was involved.

I keep having infestations that don’t show up. I’ll clear the yellow houses and I’ll still have the infestation overload warning. When other players join my game, they tell me they can see infestations when they see the map that don’t register for me on my own map. Its frustrating as all hell n

I stupidly made enemies with the army guys in the beginning which was one of the main missions of the game and now I am a decent way in. Am I screwed? Did that ruin the story line?

The outposts quickly become a necessity as there aren't that many places to get meds. I found that was by far the most sought after commodity during any play through but if you're lucky like I was the first time you might find a facility mod that allows you to have an extra 2 outposts, making a total of 7 with command center 3.

Chase Roman I no longer have it as it was on my last play though but I think it was a satellite dish.. atleast thats what the icon looked like.
Chase Roman It's called "Signal Booster" It grants 2 more outposts,I've only ever found 1.

Traits are a good thing to watch for on your survivors. Some of them can provide a passive +2 food or meds per day just for having them in your community. Beware of negative traits too, some can cause a massive morale problem and some can hinder your characters big time, like one of my friends had a guy that had a lung removed when he was a kid, only half a Cardio bar and could not get specialized.
Btw the AA auto-shotty will not take any mods. It's lethal as shit. You'll think I'm making it up, but last night I cluster killed 9 zeds with one shot. I was shocked.
The DEVGRU X12 INFILTRATOR is the best shotty in game.
Run in circles for cardio
When you loose important character you can turn off game, delete save game and go back, character will be back
