"Star Realms is a fast-paced game of space battles that combines the fun of a deckbuilding game with the interactivity of Trading Card Game-style combat. As you play, you make use of Trade to acquire new Ships and Bases from the cards being turned face up in the Trade Row.
You use the Ships and Bases you acquire to either generate more Trade, or to generate Combat to attack your opponent and their Bases. When you reduce your opponent’s score (called Authority) to zero, you win! Battle your friends or team up to play cooperatively against the game!"

This was my first star realms purchase. It’s great solo and multiplayer.

The game is very good, it is a classic deck building game like dominion but with theme and is quicker and less combo heavy. You start with only two different basic card types, a 1 point attack ship, and a 1 coin trade ship. Play cards to attack but also the important bit to add up you trade ships to buy better new attack/trade or both ships. Like other deck builders it is important to scrap the starter ships as you build your fleet so you increase the chance of drawing your best ships and the game has ships that scrap others.

Saw this Game on TableTop and just bought the Basic Deck and Frontier expansion. I think this game will be good for playing Via Zoom during Corona Quarantine

Hello, great video! I would like to ask you two questions? First, do you recommend getting all three base sets to have more variability? Second, what are the precise dimensions of this box? It looks quite different from SR and SR:CW! Thank you!
More variability is certainly nice. Do I recommend it? I’d say get one and see what you think. If you want more, you’ll know. 😄
Both this and Sentinels of the Multiverse have a free digital demo and also a cheap option to buy the full digital version of the games, great for a try before you buy. So cheaper and easier to play this digitally but not the tactile feel of a physical game. For pc and IOS and android game is identical multiplayer and solo and scenarios and reasonable AI for the solo games.

Hello Kneecapper! Digital certainly is a great option however many may prefer the tactile use of physical cards. As long as you’ve found what works for you, that’s awesome! Cheers!
Agreed, I have both digital and physical. I play the physical one if a friend is round, but for solo I like the ease of setup etc of digital, not that there is much setup.
I probably over emphasized the digital but wanted to let folks know it exists. Same for Sentinials of the Multiverse.

100% the digital is super handy. Similiar to how I play Warhammer Champions. I much prefer the app for one off battles online. No downtime to wait, just action and then I can put it down. Will do KC! :)
I already have the base game. Do you combine these cards with the base game cards for gameplay, mainly multi player such as 4 players? For Multi player ( more than 2 players) would I be better off with this frontiers expansion or should I just buy the Colony Wars expansion?
Hey! I believe you can combine no problem at that player count. As to which is better, I can’t say exactly as I never played with that many players.
Wish we had gotten some gameplay. You should revisit this one. 👍🏽👍🏽

The artwork is done very good, bout buying a game just for the artwork like buying a car so it will stand in a garage

Yep! They’re a similar size.
I love Star Realms and I have collected pretty much everything.
But as a solo/coop game it is... boring. :/
It’s a 1v1 game at heart and that is where it shines.
