If you're watching this in 2023 you no longer need to convert your second (larger) SD to Fat32. 351elec uses exfat which, if you have an SD 64GB or above, should be default. Hi, i am having trouble to download stock bios. when i put the sd card appears the message "format so you can use it". how can i do to save the stock bios? where can i download it from?
Hi, I just bought a brand new one. The 16GB TF card only 1 [bezels] folder inside contain 4 files 3x .png and 1x .cfg files. I dont have those bios files in my 16gb card shown in your video.
Can you help me, I'm following this video but I found the same files on the 16GB card and no Bios Folder, What did you do to flash the cards please help
So I received my RG351v today. However the 16GB card doesn't have a BIOS folder in the GAMES partition. Only bezels. I also didn't receive the 2nd card with any games. EMUELEC partition is there. How can I get the original BIOS that was supposed to come on the card? I flashed a new card with the stock RG351v firmware but it doesn't include any BIOS. Help?
Problem inserting SD card to PC the PC does not recognise it, and the only option is to format it to use it? Anyway it comes in 3 partitions now days so maybe they changed since this video. So users will need to first delete these volumes and format also the 16GB SD to Fat32 and make 1 partition instead. THEN Flash the card. That Flash Image you linked too seems to divide the Card up into 3 working volumes and 2 unallocated sectors. Spent hours trying to follow this 1 step on your tutorial but its doesn't make sense I'm afraid :( The most confusing part is when you first copied off the BIOS from teh 16gb card at 6:10 so we have it backed up, but when you copy all the folders from GAMES to GAMES (new card) why wasn't your bios copied with the games folders and why were your game folders empty? so confused!!! :(
Make sure you use RUFUS to burn the image. I've read there are reports of being having problems with Etcher with some of these images (for some reason, not sure why, I normally use Etcher otherwise).
Hey man, so I went through the first step of flashing new SD cards, but every time I put it in my laptop, it won't let me access the files without formatting them, which it says will erase all data in the SD card : (. I really like your videos and you were part of the reason I changed my mind from 351M to 351V. Keep it up man :D
@@KelpCakezz they didn't screw up. That's normal. The SD cards 16gb ones when inserted to PC are not readable anymore. Not sure since when, but it's happening to many people now. Maybe it depends when you bought it from but yea you're only given option to format. Doesn't really matter though since the bios files are on the GAMES card anyway so its safe to format, then use the flash after.
My stock SD card's GAMES partition doesn't have a bios folder. The only one it has is "bezels" and there isn't much in there. The two stock cards seem to work fine, meaning I can play all of the games it came with, but I am not sure how to transfer the stock bios files over to my new SD card now.
I just got the device, but on the Games partition on the 16 GB card is only a folder called bezels and in there are only four files?! Will de BIOS be created while usage or any ideas?
For some reason the device won’t read my 132gb Sandisk even though I formatted the GUI fine. I’ll add games and they won’t show up so I’m just using the 64gb card that came with it and it works fine. The 16gb Sandisk had no problem. There were only a few games I wanted to play on it anyway so it’s not like I’ll need the memory. Not throwing shade or anything, this video was actually very helpful.
I'm very frustrated right now. Everything that is on the 16GB is on the 64 that came with mine and the new stock firmware did not gave me an option to extract it.. This is where I'm stuck. I downloaded it and put it into the first folder we made which is where I put the "stock bios folder" and it wont extract there. Also in that folder why does it say stock bios on mine but now in the video? all this confuses me incredibly.
I just got my device in and I am starting this guide at the 6 minute mark you mention the games partition, I see that however mine doesn't have a bios it only has a folder named bezels and on the EMUELEC partition it has the folders: extlinux boot kernel etc so for the desktop folder that I named Stock bios, like in the video, do I just copy that and leave that bezels folder in the games partition alone? What do I copy over so I have a backup of my sd card that came with my device.
When I connected the 16gb sd card (system card) to the pc, my pc keeps telling me to format it. When I ignore it, it shows me the games folder but everything that appears to you, it doesn't on mine.

Spent hours trying to follow this 1 step on your tutorial but its doesn't make sense I'm afraid :(
The most confusing part is when you first copied off the BIOS from teh 16gb card at 6:10 so we have it backed up, but when you copy all the folders from GAMES to GAMES (new card) why wasn't your bios copied with the games folders and why were your game folders empty? so confused!!! :(
Mine just arrived!!! Thank you for this!!!! Really!
When I extract the files using winrar it shows status with a red x over the disk image file
Keep it up man :D
im having this problem too!
What did you end up doing?
“Hey man” the famous phrase when someone screws up
@@KelpCakezz they didn't screw up. That's normal. The SD cards 16gb ones when inserted to PC are not readable anymore. Not sure since when, but it's happening to many people now. Maybe it depends when you bought it from but yea you're only given option to format. Doesn't really matter though since the bios files are on the GAMES card anyway so its safe to format, then use the flash after.
once you flashed the cards they wont be readable on pc anymore hence you get that message
Will de BIOS be created while usage or any ideas?
can all this be done with a Mac?
What's a mac? Are they those old pcs that students used in the olden days?
I got the anbernic rg351v but cant save the games for snes, gameboy advance, etc. any help?
I need help mines does not have the bios file in the game section I'm using a MacBook is that matters
My TF1 card does have any BIOS files, the only thing in games comes up "bezels"
Can you do the rg280v next? I couldn't find any tutorials on how to run emuelec on the rg280v
I'm getting Network error software caused connection abort. When using WinSCP
did you ever figure it out?
On the 353v the bios folder is in my tf2 slot is that normal ?
I just got my device in and I am starting this guide at the 6 minute mark you mention the games partition, I see that however mine doesn't have a bios it only has a folder named bezels and on the EMUELEC partition it has the folders: extlinux boot kernel etc so for the desktop folder that I named Stock bios, like in the video, do I just copy that and leave that bezels folder in the games partition alone? What do I copy over so I have a backup of my sd card that came with my device.
ran into the same issue, the bios files ended up being in the other microSD card it came with, the 64gb one
@@LaytonxGyakuten Mine only came with the 16gb one :(
I'm trying to manually upload a theme, and that Login/PW combination isn't working in WinSCP. Anyone else experiencing this?
@Retro Game Corps Just a heads up, the clean firmware link in your written guide no longer works.
Please help, when I open the GAMES partition from the included 16gb microsd card, only one folder named "bezels" shows up. what am I doing wrong?
My 16 gig did not have bios folder in games folder.
Very Excellent !!! Mon ami :) i hope to see the next part !!!
Thank you! 😃
When I connected the 16gb sd card (system card) to the pc, my pc keeps telling me to format it. When I ignore it, it shows me the games folder but everything that appears to you, it doesn't on mine.
Howdy, there are no bios in my games partition. Are there different versions being shipped now?
Had the same issue, it was in the other SD card
Thank you Good Sir this is Indispensable.
i can't save games, can you help me???
