I love how we have been able to see you evolve as a musician. Years ago you would have been forcing vocal breakup, which you don’t do as much these days, a very different approach, and it sounds incredible!
Funnily enough, this version is faithful to how the song was originally envisioned. David improvised the tribal screaming at the beginning.
I'm not great with trying to describe music, but this had such a...'soothing eeriness' that it truly stands out as its own beast; and *really* worked to end on
(usually, the opening and the 'no mommy' part of DWTS makes or breaks the cover, but here, it was a solid use of restraint [and comedy])

It's very-very interesting that the mask is not beautiful by any means, yet to me it seems very charming, comforting somehow, as if it gives a fake sense of security.
Also, your performance is just great, just as singing.
