One reason (of many) that I think your videos are so useful is because you have an excellent sense of what your viewers need to see, how often, and at what speed, in order to really visualize the techniques you describe. Many RUclips demonstrations both describe techniques and then show them in practice simply too quickly for a newcomer like me to process them. I love that you explain a process clearly and immediately show footage, often several times, from several angles, and at slow speeds, in order to bring the concept home.
Your videos show that you have a very deep knowledge on everything that has to do with tennis. I am 62 years old , I have been studying and playing tennis for the last 40 or so years. You are always accurate and exhaustive. Your explanation here shows exactly that. The neutral stance seems to come more natural to me , and maybe is that I am using a 93 inch racket ( volkl power bridge ten mid ) and need that body weight transfer to drive the ball deep. Many thanks for another informative video.
Technique 1&2: Best for control and move your opponent until he makes errors. Technique 3: best for hitting extreme angle shots when balls bounce near the service box. Technique 4: best for injury your shoulder unless you’re build like Nadal. Technique 5: best for passing shot when your opponent running up to the net and surprise him.
Great instructional video, I’m relatively new to tennis and I struggle trying to hit a forehand with a ball that is below my hitting zone and one which is above it, I know some of it is poor footwork on my part but any tips would be great 👍
Great Video again Simon!!! Thank you for all the great content. Maybe one day you can make a video for other coaches how to get most out of group training. Or maybe you can produce a course about that topic? Greetings from Germany 🙋♂️
Amazing content, congrats and thank you! 👏 I'm looking for a new video of you talking about volley, I would appreciate it if you give us new tips on that. Also, the audio of your videos has been improved lately, I think that this court has a better acoustic.
I think I've just used once in my life the Nadal whip one, it just came intuitively (hey Nick!😁). There is a video where Nole says which one he prefers for his son, who was a big Rafa fan!
@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Great video as usual coach. Question, would you consider another type of swing the one done with short balls that you have to attack going to the net and swing "out and up"?
You wouldn’t believe how much better I’ve gotten recently I went to tiebreak with my friend who got a state medal all because of you guys, my coach and dedication
@@IsaiahW16 Keep up the good work. But you need good rest and sleep to recover and improve faster. You only improve when resting, that's when the body absorbs the technique and it becomes a habit
Which finish would you recommend me of this ones to use most of the times?¿ knowing that my ball dosen't penetrate and goes high and then bounce with some top spin but either not heavy and mostly finishing around the shoulder level
ruclips.net/video/-p3WXrHZe3M/видео.html Hey Simon, I took this video of myself hitting a few years back, my follow through I believe is a mix of your examples....You rate it?? Nice work on your videos and teaching, keep up the good work mate, Regards GT

Thank you for the support 🙏
We do our best, and understand that many people learn visually so the slow motion footage is crucial
adore the puppies 😊
Thank you 🙏
So great to see the breakdown of options and when to use them!
Glad it was helpful 🙏

I use the second one, across the chest finish 👍
One of the best IMO

I remember that video, Nole wasn’t too pleased with his son’s buggy whip finish 😂

I focused on the movements of the puppy while watching your instructions.
Up at 4:25 am to watch TTT!
Do you mean 4:25am?
Yep!

Cute doggos. 😂
Can we use buggy whip finish on low balls?
Yes, it’s a good way to create the extreme low to high swing

Across the chest
gorgeous 😍
🙏
Not to forget""Bend your knees" Or lower your body just before hitting the ball.
That would be a great tip if the lesson wasn’t on FH finishes 😂
I want to know where that dog came from? 😀
Which one? There’s five puppies behind the camera 😂
For me it depends on what height the ball approaches me. I am a short guy.
That’s also a factor for sure
