Corey Taylor himself being a victim of childhood sexual abuse would know that kind of pain and know that piece of shit will never revive his career in fact I don't say this often but that dude just needs to the world a favor abd off himself because he has destroyed someone's innocence. -Mercy(sorry for the name confusion i am on my dad's phone at the moment)
Watkins ruined so many peoples lifes from his victims to the families, his band mates were destroyed ( the accusations also aimed at them) to think that his ex girlfriend reported him and nothing was done is beyond disgusting
Thats kinda what I suggested too, when I mentioned El Duce from the mentors. That guy HAD to have committed some serious crimes and just never got caught. Sik
If Hell is a place, Ian should stay there for all of his miserable life, I hope someone hurts him as badly as he has hurt his victims. I'm speaking as an outsider looking in. It's really powerful coming from Corey, because he himself was sexually abused as a child.
I worked at a Best Buy, on the Geek Squad, and we sent a total of three people to prison for having illegal images of children on their computers. I hope anyone who harms kids like that burns.
Met Ronnie Spector when she toured Britain in mid 70s ,she was listening to the sound check in the afternoon before her show that night I asked if she wanted a cuppa ,she was pleasant approachable and softly spoken ,and pleasantly surprised when I mentioned the sound would be different when the place was full ,she said modestly "so you really think we will get a good crowd " , she needn't have worried the place was packed that night she did a great show and went down a storm .RIP.

I would say that Ian Watkins is by far the most evil person on this list. It’s bizarre to imagine just how somebody can possibly end up that depraved. He must have just been born a psychopath.
It's bizarre that this guy claims charles manson is worse than watkins. I don't care how many people he brainwashed to kill what watkins did was not even comparable the absolute epitome of evil.

I was tempted to laugh at this until I remembered that this is about a despicable and sociopathic human being who did some truly disgusting things to innocent children.

What people don’t realize is that Gary Glitter was very close to Jimmy Saville. What Jimmy Saville was known to be involved in was much worse than what Glitter was convicted of, so it was really really bad. And Jimmy Saville was extremely close with the Queen and the Royal Family. Ya, that’s a whole another rabbit hole.
On 3 February 2023, Gary Glitter was released on licence after serving half of his sentence, due to the sentencing guidelines in place at the time of the historic offences. On 13 March 2023, Glitter was recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
I have an almost 16 month old son and he won’t even be staying the night anywhere until he has a full enough vocabulary/knowledge to know what’s appropriate and what’s not, and to tell me. He’ll also be taught if an adult tells him to keep something secret that’s harmful to him or others, to run STRAIGHT to me and tell.
4 months? 4 months!! For 4,000 images of children. Gary Glitter should have gotten at least 1 year for each of those pictures. Sick. It allowed him to do even more disgusting acts. Insanity.
What the judge chose to ignore while sentencing him is the fact that each and everyone of the children went through terrible abuse to get those pictures.
@@jjsmum Yes, but the person viewing the pictures or videos didn't physically harm or sexually abuse those kids, so why should they be punished? If you watch a film of someone being beaten up or murdered, does that mean you committed those crimes, or any crime? No. Moron.

for the gary glitter case getting 4 months in prison for having over 4,000 images of cp is just a slap on the wrist for a much more serious crime, imo he should’ve gotten more time
Not trying to defend the guy, just offering up a little perspective: The home page alone of a typical triple-X / hardcore porn site will quite often have hundreds of images on it, which if you know how, you can download with just a couple of mouse clicks. I mention this because I read something recently which quoted a prosecutor saying the same thing. Possessing thousands of digital images absolutely does not imply that the individual had anything to do with their creation, and can be downloaded en masse in very little time and with very little effort. It's not like the old days, in which such a collection would imply nearly a full-time job indulging in this obsession. This is the kind of thing that is considered by judges deciding on sentencing.
@@JamesThompson-zk1htyeah but he also raped kids. The computer thing may be an inconvenient way for him to be caught but it’s also very unsettling because he thought he was so protected that he could bring a computer with an ungodly amount of porn to be fixed and if the employee noticed that he had CP from just GLANCING at the computer, that means he definitely had SOMETHING that was perverted in plain sight. It doesn’t seem like the guy fixing his computer was snooping around on his computer, he just saw something that he knew didn’t look right. The arrogance he has is stomach churning and anyone who’s into such perverted and evil things deserve to be judged with more scrutiny than even the worst criminals. People really should’ve known and outed Gary glitter and Jimmy Saville and everyone associated with them WAY before the computer incident happened. Johnny rotten even said in an interview from 1978 that Jimmy saville was into little kids and used his power to get close to them. It shouldn’t have taken a crusty, old, porn infested computer in the 1990’s to get the ball rolling in outing these guys. Nobody even knew about saville until after he died. At least glitter’s life and reputation has been completely ruined for his actions.
agreed. my favorite was macklemore putting “smells like r kelly’s sheets (piss)” in thrift shop. even though technically the song came out a few years before he got arrested
What's stuck with me about Ian Watkins was the fact that a mother was offering her baby and the messages they sent between each other are SOO sickening!!! I couldn't listen to the trial on that part. The whole thing is sickening 💔 glad these ppl got locked up
At ONE YEAR OLD it’s like it’s not even a Child yet, still an infant, toddler… a NEWBORN. unbelievable. This story of Watkins never fails to anger and disgust me to no end.
Not only him but the mothers of those children, they deserve to be in there just as long, if not longer! I read the court transcripts and these women not only gave their children, they joined in!
Watching the clip of Lostprophets performing genuinely made me sad because it sounded like a band I would've probably listened to. What fantastic music ruined beyond repair by such a horrific demon.
I was an avid listener of Lostprophets in 2009 and when it all came out about Ian in 2012 it really fucked me up. I was a young teenager and although I knew about paedophiles I never even considered that anyone could do that to a baby. I just hope the victims are doing well 💕
I had seen them on tour in I think 07 or 08 and after that all came out I never listened to their music ever again because it would make me think about how he fucked up so many young children that will never be the same because of what he did. I also hope that all affected by his disgusting crimes are doing better.
I had a teacher in the early 2000’s who used to brag about how she dated Ian when she was a teenager. Bet she doesn’t tell that story anymore. The guy needs to be Hung, Drawn and Quartered
I was devastated when learning about the murder of Lana Clarkson. Lana was not only a beloved actress with a circle of fans that loved her, she was an extremely kind and caring soul. Lana had even given aid and assistance towards AIDS patients *(during a time where AIDS was believed to be far more contagious than it actually is)* simply out of the kindness of her heart, completely disregarding her own reputation since people with AIDS were commonly seen as disgraced humans from society at that time.
Ill never forget when i heard about Ian Watkins! I was a MASSIVE Lostprophets fan and went to see them in concert a few times. When the story broke i was so shocked and found it hard to accept what had happened! I never defended him, but reserved my judgement until i heard the full story, when i did, i was absolutely disgusted, thats not adequate enough, but there really are no words to describe his depraved and evil acts. I got rid of all my CDs and merch i had and was heartbroken for the victims, the rest of the band and the fans, he is where he deserves to be but ill never get over what he took from us all because of his own revolting behaviour. Just awful all round.
I was the same. Couldn't believe it. My g/f at the time still listened to them despite all the charges. It drove us apart and I ended the relationship. As far as I'm aware, she stil listens to them.
I can separate an artist from their art in most cases. I never listened to them nor had a clue who they were but what happened is enough to make me want to go to prison just to get in the same place as him. What gets me is some smooth brains here screaming how Varg is the worst because "mUh rAcIsM". Wtf is wrong with these people.
Right? My old favorite band, got me through a lot of dark times then put me through a weird dark time myself. Well not dark, just... What a devastating thing to learn. I couldn't believe it. Nothing gave him away at all really. Nothing at all. Just seemed like a regular dude.

I think it should also be noted that when Ian Watkins was arrested, the police initially went in on a drug bust, as they didnt take Ian's ex seriously about the allegations and didnt bother to look at the evidence. Just to add more depravity, Ian Watkins password for his laptop was "I FUK KIDS" so it showed that he really didnt have any remorse
There was a Christmas special with that Ian guy, he smelled a baby's head, and the mother even asked him to stop smelling her baby's head. Knowing what he did now, it's sickening 🤮🤮🤮
“A rockstar that became a monster”? How about a monster that some thought was a rockstar? Sentencing Glitter to serious time in prison as he should have been would have saved the victims he used after his 4 months in jail.

If not worse? It is worse just because manson is famous this stupid yter has to treat him like he is a vip in hell. Anyone with a soul knows Watkins is in a different league of evil
Ian Watkins ex said that he wanted to get her pregnant so he could molest the baby after it was born that is beyond evil even charles Manson wouldn't stoop that far.
The Manson family DID rape kids. Manson had Squeaky Fromme molest a little girl, "to get over her hangups." One of their victims later became one of my ex's best friends, Mary. Heard about it from her. So I tend to believe this, even tho Mary was not a baby during the molestation. It fits with other stuff I've read about them, having to unlearn all their social conditioning to become good little robots for Charly's death squad. So they would have to do these crimes in front of the whole group, as part of his Nazi mind control practice. It was his long-term goal to break down people until they are clear of all basic human decency. Took months, or years, and a lot of drugs and peer pressure.
I would have 100% included Dahvie Vanity on this list. It's unfortunate that he's never faced any punishment and still does what he wants today, while detectives build a very slow-moving case that may take years more to even see a courtroom, if ever. ((And I know, calling D a "musician" is a very generous stretch...)) Believe the victims. It's the least we can do.
@Eldritch Abomination Nah Man, Varg is guilty af and belongs on this list. Lambesis is guilty, but he's the least evil, so bump him off and include Vanity instead

I also consider varg vikerness most evil crime to be arson, the dude he killed deserved it, also I'm sorry, but I consider sex crimes, and crimes against children to be much worse than many other crimes. Also not all killings or murders are equal, some are more heinous than others, the same is true about attempted murder, hiring a hitman, or etc. The courts agree with this, considering the aforementioned were released, r kelly's charge will be much greater than theirs, so it isn't just unpopular public opinion saying that he is more evil than many other criminals or controversial figures.

He might have been a lot nicer at that point than he later became. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like both Varg and Euronymous should’ve shared a spot. Yes, Varg was the murderer, but you don’t feel half as appalled when you know what Euronymous did. He bullied a fellow band mate (ex singer Per Ohlin aka Dead) to suicide, and when he found the suicide in his room, he bought a disposable camera and took photos after rearranging the incident. Afterwards, his phrasing when he told them was “Dead did something really fucking cool.” Plus, he would make necklaces from the skull fragments and gave copies of the photos to friends, one of whom used a picture as a bootleg album cover. No wonder Necrobutcher also planned on killing him. (Also, Euronymous participated in the church burnings alongside Varg.)
He said it himself, and he said he didn't go to a boarding school. He even said he, his brother and a French boy (who must be now in his late 40s) are some of the very few European men who have been in an Iraqi public school. Which would explain even more than if he was ok a boarding school, honestly
One I would add is Joel Faviere. He was briefly the lead singer of Get Scared and also released solo music. He was charged with over 100 counts of possession of CP. He's currently still in prison. He was one of my favorite artists when I was a teenager and one day I realized I hadn't heard anything about him in a while, so I googled his name and found all of that. Also the lead singer of Front Porch Step. He was never sent to prison for it, but he admitted to sexting minors online (I believe he made an apology post on either Tumblr or facebook) and sending/receiving explicit photos, and i believe he also had a relationship with a 16 or 17 year old. Looking back on some of his song lyrics, a lot of people believe those songs were written about teenage girls, which is disturbing considering a lot of them had sexual themes. He was getting pretty big in the pop-punk scene and I believe he played at warped tour, but after that you didn't hear about him anymore, for good reason. Knowing what the songs were most likely about, it's very hard to listen to them.
Front porch step found christ afterwards and is actually a very normal human being now if u followed his twitter that is sadly he will always get hate which is understandable
its also interesting to note that the album cover for “i can’t handle change” by roar is ronnie and phil. the specific song christmas kids alludes to the abusive relationship as well

Dear God, the disgusting atrocities that Ian has done… Look, I believe that it is possible to separate art from the artist and enjoy things that are made by horrible, sociopathic monsters. For instance, I still like to listen to Gary Glitter songs on the super rare occasions they’re played on the radio; I enjoy watching clips from the Cosby Show every now and then because it’s still a really fun, heartwarming experience if you’re willing to turn your brain off for a little while; I even sometimes like to look at some of the Sonichu comics for a good laugh, allowing myself to temporarily forget about what happened to its creator. But with Ian Watkins and the Lostprophets… I’m sorry man… I just can’t. I don’t think I’ve listen to a single song by the band since I first heard about Ian’s arrest. As much as I used to really love Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcasts), just hearing the first few notes of the opening guitar riff makes me sick nowadays. There is no force on earth that can make me forget what I read and heard in the days following Ian’s arrest, all with confirmation and evidence from investigates that they were all true… and that there was even more. So what I’m trying to say is Ian Watkins is such an abhorrent POS that he is, for me, the one exception to the rule of art =/= artist.
definitely! i found out about lostprophets from this video and be4 finding out what ian did i was like "hmmm i should listen to these guys, I'll just ignore what ian did" but then when i found out i don't think i will listen to them.
Where I went to school, "Rock and Roll pt 2" was a regular song in the pep rally rotation. Coincidentally, both the coach and the music teacher have since been put on the sex offender registry.
When it was used in the Joker with Joaquin Phoenix coming down the stairs the implication of child sex abuse was overwhelming. I sat speechless, horrified and chilled.

@@G0TIMAN Yeah I mean, here, it’s a three pronged issue. You can be charged for creating the images, sending the images and/or possessing the images. They also consider each image to be a crime so they can charge per image. Idk. Our judicial system has finally decided that they don’t like pedos and it’s trying to penalize them justly 🤷🏻♂️
There is something particularly "OFF" about referring to Watkins by his first name "Ian", like, despite the appalling depravity of his offending, you feel a sense of congeniality towards him, like you find his personality agreeable or pleasantly personable because it is suited to your own tastes and inclinations..."Yes, Ian was rather naughty wasn't he, but such an interesting scoundrel..." Pffft..
Lots of people also seem to love saying "oh, you don't listen to AILD because of what he did? You should forgive him!" Maybe y'all are forgiving him a bit too quickly? He definitely should've served more years IMO.

@@azerjinn9160 Okay but the video literally said he was drugged out of his mind and wasn't paying attention to his kids while they were at the pool and what not. He neglected his children to go to the gym and with that in mind, she was absolutely in the right to file for custody in this instance because he was not in the right state of mind to be taking care of his children until he got over his substance abuse problem. Am I denying that perhaps the family court system is biased in favor of women? Yes, but in this instance I don't think they made the wrong decision. He should've taken that as a wake up call to get himself together but no, he made the decision to go and get a hitman to try and kill his wife. Can you imagine how traumatized the children are now knowing that their father who is a public figure could've left them without a mother? Again, I'm not trying to shit on what you're saying, but again I feel like this is a case where the family courts made the right call and him attemping to hire a hitman only solidied that decision IMO. Also she wasn't trying to take all of his money; the video says she wanted half which yes is still rough since being a musician, especially a metal musician, isn't a lucrative occupation. Still, it seemed he was a danger to the children based on what we know.

There is another musician called Ian Watkins who performed with a band called Steps and a lot of publications put his photo on their articles about this case rather than the Lost Prophets singer leading the Steps member to have to get his lawyer to get these publications to print an apology for wrongly publishing his pic in relation to this case
I found it absolutely insane how publications posted that without doing their due diligence.

Screw them. Honestly what Watkins did was just as evil as what Manson did if not worse.
Actually Manson and the family did abuse the children. They dosed them w/LSD and used them during the orgys...sick shit. :(

Manson wouldn't care, he wouldn't call it abuse he'd say he was enlightening his kids
I would have 100% included Dahvie Vanity on this list. It's unfortunate that he's never faced any punishment and still does what he wants today, while detectives build a very slow-moving case that may take years more to even see a courtroom, if ever. Tim Lambesis plotted to have someone killed, sure, it's evil, but it's still a theoretical crime.

Dear God, the disgusting atrocities that Ian has done…
Look, I believe that it is possible to separate art from the artist and enjoy things that are made by horrible, sociopathic monsters.
Still, it seemed he was a danger to the children based on what we know.
"My son is not a dangerous person..he is just trying to make a statement about how our government is run." Pipe bombs is innocent people's mailboxes ripping off fingers and limps is a very safe way to make a statement.
Well his idea about the government is right, however his way of expressing it is most certainly not! 🤦🏻♂️
@Frank Bonazza III Apparently the video creator doesn't feel that rappers are musicians LOL otherwise they'd all top the list. How many wannabe rappers trying to get clout fast have ended up robbing and killing people? Its hundreds in the US alone
Government does way worse than what an average person could do. I see you missed the point
He was told to say that to have his son think it was safe to turn himself in..It worked
@@xravenx24fe top the list lol ok bud
Ian Watkins was stabbed in prison and taken hostage a couple weeks ago!
But lived, unfortunately.
@@SavoxYtI disagree. Death would have been an easy way out. Let him age and waste his life away!
@@SavoxYt I would applaud the prisoners that to him because it is what Watkins deserves!
Watkins is a seriously sick individual
His bandmates "..Well, that explains all the after show baby showers.....".
Ian Watkins disturbs me so deeply… I was in love with him…. 🤮
@@linziRyan1965 Your way too old for him anyway.....
@@billcar6805 lolol!!!
There is another musician called Ian Watkins who performed with a band called Steps and a lot of publications put his photo on their articles about this case rather than the Lost Prophets singer leading the Steps member to have to get his lawyer to get these publications to print an apology for wrongly publishing his pic in relation to this case
If I were him I would have changed my name a long time ago
@@mmbb3209 he was known as H to Steps fans
I found it absolutely insane how publications posted that without doing their due diligence. I remember when that case broke and a friend messaging me being like: "did you hear about the guy from Steps!?" And I was like "no... what's he done? Did you hear about the guy from Lost Prophets!?" And he replied the exact same thing to me. Crazy.
@@mmbb3209 Why though? Pretty sure he was famous before that scumbag from the Lost Prophets. Seems a bit unfair because he didn't do anything wrong. Maybe the Lost Prophets scumbag should change his name to "C.U.N.T."
WTF how do they get that wrong!?
Glitter was quite influential. He influenced British punk, post punk, new wave, New Romantics, goth, Brit pop and hair metal. Even Mark E. Smith cited Glitter as an influence, which shows how Glitter was. To think he’s an influence on half the stuff in my record collection.
You made me realize the same about my collection, since I grew up listening to most of those genres. I never looked into his music, but he definitely helped shape the sound of many artists. Yayyy but booooo!
It's never easy finding out your hero is a scumbag.
Just as influential as Phil Spector, both incredibly abhorrent people.
I still hear rock and roll part two at baseball games
I really hope you're taking the piss 😂😂😂😂😂 he was a poor imitation of glam rock 😢😅😅 his music wasn't music 😂
I did more than just report Watkins for abusing his 14yr old fans. I went to the police about the baby as soon as I found out he had access to the baby, one month BEFORE he filmed that horrific video. For years before that i repeatedly went to them about other young children he was abusing. Full story is on my channel, apologies I haven't used it for years so no recent uploads. J
Yo, I Just want to Say. I Respect you for reporting Ian to the Police as much as you Could to Bring him to Justice. So yeah, I truly Respect you and you are a truly great person
