- Vintage Story Desert Life is a desert-themed survival playthough in version 1.19, with a large list of mods to speed up the process of building and chiseling. While our builds will all (or at least mostly) be in the desert, we are not restricted to hot and arid climates for the purposes of gathering materials and resources.
This series exists as a series of VODs, as well, but for people who prefer their videos in a more manageable length, the VODs will be cut into these shorter episodes and released throughout the week after each livestream, provided that there is enough desire for this format.

Island Mode is working as intended... when you highlighted that large area it tries to pull that whole area forwards 1 block even if other stuff is in the way or if it spills out from the other stuff already there. To solve this you simply need to spin around the block and handplain the smaller "islands" towards the larger one to finish filling the layer.
But i do agree, a "Fill/Bucket" option would be fantastic.
*Also remember ALT is a thing, it lets you freely move your cursor without also moving your camera. This can be a fantastic tool to help you Clay Form and Chisel as it removed the need to readjust your character and camera for every single voxel...
**Ooh another thing i see a lot of people not know or forget about... you can Unlock your inventory and move that window around so you can, for example add the new blocks to the chisel menu without closing and opening your inventory 5 times.
22:30 I think the mod is telling you which stone you have selected by putting a (+) symbol next to the stone type on the tooltip at the top of the screen.
I might need to tinker with it / check some settings, but while I can see it, I can't figure out how to change the stone type. I tried the usual "tool alternate mode menu" button, but nothing popped up.

Also keep in mind you MUST add the gold leaf when CRAFTING the lanterns rather than adding it later like the vanilla "gold or silver plates"
